My family tree goes up to someone named Francois Clovis Chapois/Chapoy Married to a Petra Devaux from Lyon,Meuse,Lorraine so this seems interesting Two of his sons named Augustin and Felix Lyon/Leon

@UV LEO there is no way you could be a descendent of Le Duc de Maine because none of his 3 kids left any progeny but I would not be surprised if you are descendent of Louise Françoise Mademoiselle de Nantes

Hi Michelle ! No snow here, we haven't had much this year and we're slowly headed towards spring (I don't mind much). Rani's doing fine but I do have a check up scheduled for her on Tuesday to make sure. Will you give sweet Benjamin a cuddle for me ?

Agreed. The lives of women those days were not easy. They were a commodity used for political gain most of the time and often lived miserable lives because of it.

Le Grand Conde took care of her and she survived but Le Grand Conde himself died from smallpox

I do believe Louis Le Grand Dauphin was closest to Louise Françoise out of all his siblings she was a leading member of Caballe de Meudon Le Grand Dauphin used her palace as a love nest
