Louise Dear: Brighton Snowdogs (1min)

Louise Dear is a Brighton-based fine artist and one of our regular clients. Louise has fully embraced video within her business model, seeing it as a vehicle to generate more interest, site traffic, sales and commissions for work.
Being a natural in front of a camera herself means she features in a lot of her videos which allows potential customers to connect with the artist and not just her work.
Marlet’s Hospice of Hove have a connection to Sussex author, Raymond Briggs, which is how the Brighton Snowdog project came to be. Forty-two of them were dotted around Brighton & Hove decorated in all the colours of the rainbow by a diverse group of local artists in order to raise awareness for the Marlet’s charity who, like many charities thesedays, are relying more and more on support from the private sector to get by.
This film documents the birth of two particular Snowdogs; 'Crush-Puppy' from Donatellos restaurant in the Laines, and 'Dudley Dockerill' from Dockerills hardware store in the North Laine, both of whom were brought into this world by Brighton artist, Louise Dear.
As well as our regular Panasonic GH4, GoPro cameras were used to capture some of the creation process shot from high up in Louise's studio and played back as a time-lapse.
"It was a total pleasure to work with William from BigEye Media. He was professional and charming, reliable and spontaneous. He understood the brief completely and the finished film is exactly what I was after and more." - Louise Dear
This film has been aired on Latest TV.
