I just saw the movie tonight with my wife and 4 children and was overwhelmed with God throughout the movie. The movie ministered to me on so many levels. I have been deeply encouraged and strengthened. The race isn't given to the swift but to the one who endures to the end. I can do all things through Christmas who gives me strength.

The book Unbroken, its story, has really stayed with me, before as I was a sinner and now that I am saved. That picture of Louis, as told in the book, of how God came to him in that tent and he was reminded of all the promises he made to God if he would be delivered from that raft. Well, God was faithful but Louis didn't keep his word, completely forgot about it actually. Until that day in the tent. When i was saved from my sin, that part of the story came rushing to me, I would say, as equally profound as Louis's own experience. God is in the beginning, the middle, and the end truly.

God Bless Him. How hard and also how great it is to forgive, to love not only one’s friend but also one’s enemy. Matthew 5:44 “Love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you”...How fulfilling and peaceful this verse sounds. In times where people think about revenge and religions preach about persecution in their scriptures to practice their exclusivism... How satisfying it is to follow Jesus’ teachings, the one who showed us Great Love sacrificing himself to save us from our sins, forgiving the ones who killed Him and rising to grant us believers Eternal Life. Hope everyone becomes a Christian, believing in Jesus Christ, Son of God, realize His Great Love for us and practice it in His daily life...The world would definitely be a better place, in Jesus’ name I pray✝️❤️

Well at the end of the book, that part is about religion. Louis well through so much just to come home and go on a drunken rampage. His wife was able to convince him to and hear bully grahams sermon, that changed his life for the absolute best. The sermon and his following of god helped shape the rest of his life. It’s unfortunate the unbroken movie didn’t touch much on the impact of god on his life afterwards

Actually, there is a lot of scientific evidence that points to God's existence. Stephen Hawking is a very respected and prominent physicist; along with many other scientists affirms the fine-tuning of the universe. This is essentially, 'If any of the physical laws or constants were changed just slightly the universe could not sustain life or we would not exist '. There are over a dozen of examples of this, "If the rate of expansion after the Big Bang was one part in a hundred, thousand, million, million a second after the Big Bang the universe would've collapsed back on itself or never developed galaxies." - Stephen Hawking. Another example of this, which I'm sure you have probably learned in school is the Goldilocks zone or scientifically known as the Habitable zone, essentially if we were slightly further away from the sun we would freeze and life could not be possible and if we were a little closer we would burn up. We're not too far away from the sun and were not too close and were "just right". Earth's rotational axis, if that were to be changed slightly we would not exist, Jupiter attracts all of the cosmic meteors to it; rather than Earth due to the gravitational force of Jupiter. There are satellite images of Meteoroids the size of Earth on Jupiter. I can go on and list more examples, but if there is a design there must be a designer. Im a computer programmer and if any of the code I input has one little tiny mistake the code will not render, so there must be an intelligent mind at work; if there's a code there must be a coder. I have experienced Jesus in my life and he has changed me, at one point I was very selfish and cynical but he changed me and changed others around me. There is a God and deep down you know there is, one day you will face him. He will judge you for what you said ^ and all the perverse and mean words and thoughts you have said. I encourage you to accept Jesus because you would not want to walk into that courtroom without him. Drugs, money, sex, and relationships will not save you or make you happy, that is why every time you indulge you do it again to get that same feeling, that you will never have again. It's like chasing the wind. 10/10 people die, 170,000 a day, and millions every year; repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior because tomorrow could be your last day, and God is forever everything else is temporary. God bless you.

Don't believe everything your religious leaders tell you Jesus claimed to be God, received worship reserved for God, and was called God by others while affirming they were right MULTIPLE TIMES John 20:27-29 - Then He said to Thomas, “Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.” Thomas answered and said to Him, “MY LORD AND MY GOD!” Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed.” Mark 2:27-28 - Jesus said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man IS LORD even of the Sabbath.” (We know Yahweh (Old Testament title for God) is the Lord of the Sabbath; Jesus calls Himself Yahweh) John 1:1-2; 14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD. He was in the beginning with God... 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 5:18 - For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself EQUAL WITH GOD. John 10:30 - “I and the Father ARE ONE.” (Jesus said that He and God are one... Please don't ignore this) John 14:8-9 - Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? HE WHO HAS SEEN ME HAS SEEN THE FATHER; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Isaiah 9:6 - For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. (You see, even the Old Testament prophesied that the Messiah was God). Who is the ‘I AM’? It is God’s revealed name in the Old Testament book of Exodus: Exodus 3:14 - God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” John 8:58 - Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.” 1) He identifies himself with the name of God. 2) He doesn’t say I was, but I am. So he was pre-existent before Abraham and has not changed his Godly essence since then. Who is the ‘First and the Last’? Isaiah 44:6 Thus says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: “I am the FIRST AND I AM THE LAST; BESIDES ME THERE IS NO GOD.” Revelation 1:17-18 When I saw him (Jesus), I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I AM THE FIRST AND THE LAST, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. Who is allowed worship? Deuteronomy 6:13 - You shall fear only the Lord your God; and you shall WORSHIP HIM AND SWEAR BY HIS NAME. Matthew 28:9 - And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and WORSHIPED Him. Matthew 14:33 - And those who were in the boat WORSHIPED HIM, saying, “You are certainly God’s Son!” Luke 24:50-52 - And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. While He was blessing them, He parted from them and was carried up into heaven. And they, after WORSHIPING Him, returned to Jerusalem with great joy Who did John the Baptist prepare the way for? Matthew 3:1-3 - Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of THE LORD, Make His paths straight!’” - John had prepared the way for Jesus, THE LORD (which is the title applied to God in the Old Testament)

Nah Jesus is God, the koran calls Jesus al-Masih which is translated to; the Messiah. A Messiah comes to save and Jesus came to save everyone from their sins and only God had the authority to do that. In the Koran Jesus is the only one that has a last name because of his significance. Jesus could do miracles and Mohammed couldn't, Jesus was perfect and sinless, but Mohammed was sinful. The Koran even states that the bible is true, "Say, “O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord.” And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people." - Surah chapter 5 verses 68. If the Koran says that the bible is true but the bible says nothing about the Koran then the Koran is false, in other words, if Allah revealed the Gospel and the Torah, and that is his word, how could it have ever been corrupted? Jesus is Lord repent of your sins and accept Jesus because Mohammed can't save you, he is dead. Jesus is in Heaven right now as the Koran says.

Pre 1945 Japanese believed that their emperor was a descendant of the sun goddess, Amaterasu: they were theists. After 2 nuclear bombs and Hirohito's renouncement of his deity, they became atheists. We all have wickedness in our heart...Jesus suffered for us all. You reject this because you are blind, serving the power of darkness because you don't see the sin in your own life. Simple as that. that is the point of his testimony, before he didn't even know God. the reason that happened to Louie zamperini was to get him to turn to God for help and he is the only one who could get him out of his trouble, because God knew that louie was one of his children and louie wasn't saved from the PTSD that he had until he learned from this sermon and turned to God, and after that he was rested and saved because he realized that before God had saved him from his trouble and after that he was saved from the battles and the evil desires inside of him. How else did he get rid of it if it weren't for God? Was it some type of coincidence that he was at ease that day after the sermon? No! It was the grace of God that saved him and nothing else! I encourage you to go read the book, so that you can know every detail about what he went through instead of watching the movie because it will help you understand more. My friend, through the years I've learned is that the definition of faith is believing in God even though you cannot see him that is why faith is so important to a Christian because if you have no faith, you will fall out of God's hand easily, because something like biology or science will make your faith stumble which is why you have to have great faith in God even though you cannot see him and many think just like you but that is the point of faith read a Bible or even pray and you will be a seeker and anybody who seeks God will find him so go read and pray that you will know God so that you may have peace in your life and it will not be too late for you in the time of judgement and the end were every evil thing will be destroyed and if you ignore this and think I'm talking crazy, may you be forgiven and have a saving grace so that you won't go to hell during the time of judgement and your soul won't endure suffering so go pray now so that you can be saved and understand the way to God through only Jesus, just as Louie was blessed and saved
