A new lining for a Louie is $350. I had the lining in one of my Louis replaced about 6 years ago and it cost me $350. But they replaced the entire lining and cleaned the leather too. Was very pleased with the outcome. I just took it into the Louis Vuitton store. They called me when it was ready and I just went by the store and picked it up. No fuss, no muss.

A Dooney & Bourke tan strap matches the patina pretty well I did it for my briefcase.
Nice score on the LV. Add a chain and wear cross body. Still watching 😂
LV!! It’s the mothership calling me home!! I have a strap that I bought at Macy’s in the Danbury mall just a month before my wedding. It was $55 in 1987. I have used it with many different LV bags. My sister even showed my how to make it in a wristlet. A bargain but before all the kids found money and bought LV and raised the prices for all of us who had been using the small pocket books, coats and back packs. We love them enough to pay so much for them!!

Congrats on Louis Vuitton purse. You can use a nice brass tone metal chain for the strap. If you want to keep It for yourself. Metal strap looks so nice on this purse.

I have the strap that goes on your LV bag. I had that bag and decided I was tired if it and cut it up for a friend to repurpose. I carried it for years. Let me know if you would like it. I have the inside pieces as well if you need them.

Major score on the LV, I love crossbodies also! You should keep it! I would use a chain strap on it, dress it up a bit!
good box, i'm sure a lv collector could give that baby a good home and help it's owies.
Take the purse to a shoe cobbler - it should be a simple fix!
The LV is awesome-hope you can find a strap for it!
Add a gold chain or they make non LV vachetta strap with hooks attached and wear that way

HOLY COW WOW! Score and half and the Louis! It's so funny I LITERALLY just ordered a cross body strap or the Mauve Kate Spade yesterday (it's like a boho crocheted cream and mauve mix which I think will look great with it)! The person who buys that Louis could do that too and get a decorative/contrasting strap for that Louis bag and with the brown a highlight cross body strap would be great!

Awesome box Kristen! Always amazing when you can score an LV! I don’t believe that style had a removable strap so it must have been so worn out it was taken off. I think even a non LV strap would be just fine with it! I have some straps and accessories I got from dress up your purse that I use to mix and match. I love the Ferragamos too! I thought they were Miu Miu at first. ❤❤❤

Nice! If no one buys it as-is I’ll search around for a LV strap but if I can’t find one for a reasonable price I’ll look for a guitar strap style and have some fun with it ⭐️
