Little late but never, thank you for your video. I have a June 1990 Speedy 30 and for the life of me could not find the made in france. After seeing your video, found it. Thanks.

I have a speedy 35 from 1987 and the handles are also firm. My bag was used and abused though. No canvas cracks but needs new leather. I bought it from a reseller in Japan for a great deal. It’s so fun to travel with and I don’t worry about it. I got a quote for leather replacement a year ago and they said $660. I had to wait and I just asked again a couple weeks ago and they said $895 plus another $295 if I want to replace zipper. Price increases on repairs make it almost not worth it anymore. So I think I will just use this one to death.

It's May of 1990. And KEEP your 1990 Speedy! I JUST FOUND a Speedy 35 in my birthday month and year! MB1911 (November 1991). ❤

I have a speedy 30 from 1991 and the handles are like your damier azur 🤷♀️ maybe it is because it’s a 35?

I’m not sure! These handles were the stiffest I’ve seen and touched!

The older monogram bag seems to be much more durable.

Quality diminishes over the years!!! So the very green canvases wouldn't be seen anymore for many years now and continuing ...
