I received my monogram canvas Recto the day Jerusha put her video on KZread,,I put my change in the zip part , my cards in the back and my notes in the front pocket , receipts in the middle pocket, and the chain goes onto the inside of my bag .

It’s really beautiful in the black leather. I’m just nervous about my credit cards being on the outside of it. They should at least make them with the Rfid protection into the wallets for as much as they cost .

They do have microchips. At least the one I got recently has it.

I just bought this piece in the monogram canvas because I am not much of an empriente girl , atleast not yet lol . I have yet to purchase a bag or slg in empriente leather , but I have friends who have it and love it ! I have a Jeep key fob and it does fit inside the zipper pocket but it does make it a tad more wonky than I would like , my guess is that the key fob will stretch it over time and it will fit easier down the road , I think I would just leave my keys attached and on the outside of this slg , I so far have put cash in the zipper pouch with some coins , I put my 4 most used cards on the outside slots , my ID and medical cards on the inside envelope part and I agree it’s the perfect grab and go for trips to the nail salon or even shopping where you don’t wanna carry an entire bag with you ! The name is surely interesting lol ! Thanks for sharing

Super cute, I love the versatility of it ! I feel a funny about putting important cards in the outside, I'd probably put them in the zipped part and bus cards in the outside. Great buyJennifer, it's a great grab and go and the size is perfect even to use in a small bag. Have an awesome week darling !

SLGs just make everything so much easier! Allows us to organize our items just the way we want, to fit all sorts of bag sizes. It's like investing in a fabulous closet organizer that is customizable, but for our bags!

I love this so much but that price tag, omg! Guess it works for LV since everyone is buying it even though it’s so overpriced. So happy to see a review of the Empreinte version.

I saw those recently and they’re beyond handy. If you need to run to the store or gas station that keychain mini on-the-go wallet combination is all you need. I would love to see it come in some different fun colors in the empreinte. Maybe they will for the holidays.

Thank you for showing me how to actually open the keychain clamp! I was struggling with the hardware trying figure out how to open the key clamp to put my keys on! I was going to take it back to Louis Vuitton and ask them how to do it or return it! Lol. I thought mine was broke! Ha! Thanks:-)

I have been eyeing the monogram since it came out! It's literally the perfect size and holds EVERYTHING! I am seriously considering it and waiting to hear back from my SA. Do you love it?!! It's perfect for smaller bags - but still packs a punch with all that you can carry!! Lots of room in the zipper pouch or envelope section for more cards as well! Let us know how you are loving it! Hey!! I was hoping it was just a tiny bit larger in order to fit my keys and large fob in the zipper compartment a little bit easier, but that's just me and my stupid problems. Ha! I think it is a fabulous little, workhorse of a piece and I know it will be a handy piece to have! I am itching to get into the city again, and can't wait for the (safe) chance to do it! Fits same amount as a full wallet also you can carry in your back packet of your jeans. So confortable

as a vintage legacy COACH afficianado it's nice see LV put the canvas on the back burner for a bit and bring out the full-grain leather. They should do more of this IMO.

I have heard that LV is focusing on the leather lines more than canvas now. Possibly to stay competitive with the other high end fashion houses it is always grouped with, known as the Big 3. Hermes-Chanel-Louis Vuitton.

Thank you for your support of my channel! My all time, hands down, favorite wallet/card holder/key pouch is most definitely the LV key pouch in empreinte leather. I totally agree. I have other empreinte SLGs that have lasted so well, with extreme wear, so I know for certain that it is a workhorse, forever kind of piece when it's in empriente leather. Helps me justify the price.

I just wish it were a tiny bit bigger in order to fit my key fob and keys better. It's useable, and am surprised at how I didn't have to fight to get the cards in and out when the keys were inside the zip compartment. A half an inch more would make all the difference to me and my large key fob problems!

If your car is compatible with apple you won’t need a car key with the new update that’s coming next month hopefully 😊

I have the RR Velar too! That would be nice not to have to carry that huge key fob everywhere! I need this little wallet to put in my Hermès Evelyne bag! ❤️

I am not so sure about this piece. Having cards exposed on the outside does not look safe. It should have a thin leather piece that snaps down over the cards! For that reason, I don’t see myself buying this. I love how you show every detail on your videos!❤️

I have to agree. We went to NYC a few years ago and my phone case had a place for credit card and I thought I was going to get robbed because my cards were showing. I went back to the hotel and did not use that phone case anymore because it drew unwanted attention.

I suppose its just like every other card holder from all the luxury brands. I don't think I have ever seen a card holder with the outside card slots that has the thin leather piece that snaps down (from LV, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes, YSL, etc) I wonder why they have never done that? I have seen it on non luxury card holders though. Interesting. Thank you! 💗

I had the same first thought: you don't want everyone to see your cards. In addition, I think it's a bad idea to fold bills and have to pull out the whole bunch of them even if you only need one. You are showing everyone around you how much money you have on you. Lets say you have two fifty dollar bills and one five dollar bill and you only need to pay 3.50. If you have to take out 105.00 just to get at that one five dollar bill, you are exposing how much money you are carrying around.

What stops me is, that I just would want it to be more stretchy. Im sure the empreinte is better with it than the canvas. I don't think the front pocket holds as much as I would want it to. :(

The first time I seen this wallet/card case was a youtuber unboxing. I Love this piece. However, I would not want my keys attached to it. I dont like my wallet attached to my keys just seems unsafe to me but thats me! I did NOT know it came in empriente tho. Thank you for sharing. I really want this piece!

The empriente leather is so lovely and gets smooshier with age. Perfect for this piece, I think!

I got mine in the monogram because I wanted the stiffer structure but now seeing how pretty yours is I feel I might have made a mistake😢 my keys will not go inside without distorting the shape so I just put cash in the zip and use my 6 key from Chanel for keys.

I do think the leather makes it more malleable and therefore easier to put more in it. I might even do what you are doing, since my key fob and keys make the piece a bit bulgy.

I can get it in the mini pochette, barely. And they (the recto verso and the mini p) were empty at the time. I don't know that you could put much in the RV and still get it in the mini P without a struggle...

Just one concern...you know where the snap closer is on this piece? Usually with this type of leather you see an extra reinforcement circle shaped piece of leather under the snap closer. I don't see that on this. I wonder if down the road it would effect it not having that traditional reinforcement ....???? Any thoughts on this... Also great review, can't believe all in one, how much it does.

Hi Kay! I just got out my LV Key pouch in empriente leather (that I have used non-stop for years) and it does not have that extra piece of leather you mentioned either. It is in excellent condition, still. So, I guess the extra leather reinforcement is not necessary in this case. Thanks for the question and for watching 🌸

I would just leave the keys in what they were in and not put them in the new one, definitely wouldn't have them dangling out to scratch up the inside of my bag. I personally wouldn't use the key holder, I would probably store my parents key only in the new one. Very 😍

That is a tough decision. If you think you want to stuff it full, go for the leather. I have heard from countless people that the canvas isn't nearly as malleable and is much stiffer.

I just can’t decide on material either!? After watching your video Jennifer I’m definitely leaning towards empreinte! And to be honest, I don’t love the BLACK cowhide leather on the canvas version. I'll have to try it...but I think it would be troublesome with all the cards and cash in the same part as the keys. Every time I would get the keys out, I would be afraid of all the cards etc falling out, too. I do know that all the cards and bills and coins would not fit in the zipper part of the key pouch I have. But I will give it a try!!

I don't blame you one bit. Are you sure your info was stolen that way? I recently got a new debit card and had my card number used by a stranger (caught by fraud alert, thank goodness) before I had ever left the house with the card.

They make little slip covers I found at Office Depot that I slip over my credit cards and have RFID protection. It was a pack of 3. Slim enough to still fit in the wallet. I plan on putting my credit, debit and driver's license in the hidden front pocket. Will put less important ones in the back slots. I want the Empriente leather now and just ordered the Monogram 🤪.

Great video! I just got my hands on the Monogram Recto Verso but haven't used it since I struggled with it being so tight after trying out how my essentials fit inside ... Thinking of returning it. Is your empreinte leather one stretched out a bit and pretty accessible? Or is it kinda tight when full?

Thank you! When I have all my keys in the middle zipped section, it looks like the cards will have trouble sliding in and out of the card holder part...but its no trouble at all. That surprised me the most! I believe that the leather recto verso is more pliable and softer, which makes it more easy to fill and access.

With seven keys (without the large key fob) it fits perfectly with room to spare for cash or coins, etc. It's the fob that makes it too stuffed, I think! Thanks :)
