I like your organizer and would get that one as i like that it's not too huge taking up the whole bag and would probably fit nicely in my LV backpack that I use a ton as well

Great review of your new bag. I'm with you on the felt organizers. I bought one for a leather tote that I have and set it aside in favor of a nylon one that I picked up on Amazon. It's lighter weight and easier to clean. Enjoy the nice weather - it must be beautiful in your neighborhood!

Just Jennifer I recently bought the Iena MM in the monogram print... I'm loving your "Damier Ebene" print as well!! If you were me, would you get the same purse with the different print? I looked at my other options for a shoulder purse in "Damier Ebene..fav print" & there's not much to choose from..btw, great personality/ so pretty 😍

I also have this bag and have noticed the lift on the front zip pocket when open and also the lift on the bag itself at the handles. I still like the bag and plan on keeping it, I'm with you on the fact that I hope it doesn't become a problem. Did the monogram Iena you had have the same lift?

Hi Beth. I really don't know if the mono Iena had the same lift or not...I returned it because I was worried about the vachetta tabs curling after time. Since the structure of the bag is the same regardless of canvas, I am assuming it would lift also.

Pursebling makes bases and organizers for LV bags. I have a base from there that I sometimes use in my Speedy.

I gave in and ordered this bag even though I already had the mono, but I shipped it back today. The bag arrived with the worst chemical smell to it. Do you recall if yours had a strange smell? Definitely not a leather smell by any means. I'll rebuy it, but not until I can get to a store. And supposedly the DA comes out this week too, with pink lining!! 😍 Great video as always and you look great!!

Oh my gosh! NO! I did not get any chemical smell with my bag..... Yikes!! I am a stickler for smells in bags (can not stand any smell...not even a pleasant perfume or powder smell) I hope you can get to a store and find one that is perfect. I'm in the market for a work tote to carry my iPad, lunch, shoes, small grocery or drugstore purchases as I live and work and NYC where a one way commute is 1.5-2 hrs long. My wallet, job id, subway metro-pass are carried in a small crossover like the favorite or pochette metis. I am really liking this Iena in the DE, great for fall, winter and spring. Hi! This sounds like a fabulous bag for your circumstances! I always try to use my monogram bags as much as possible in the summer (when it's not raining), but I'm sure there will be days this Iena is my bag of choice!

Seriously looking at adding this bag to my collection as my first DE bag. I like using luggage tags as bag charms and was wondering if the shiny brown would match the matte looking brown on this new bag? Also I use Divide and Conquer bag organizers in my Neverfull and speedy. They are twill, lightweight and Connie can make anything! Her shop is on Etsy and I'll get one for this bag as well. Hi Cindy! I'm guessing the luggage tag will look a little shinier than the bag leather if you look closely, but I doubt it will be so noticeable as to be a problem. I don't have one to check it against my Iena, but I think it would look really nice! Thank you for the organizer info. I will check out her Etsy shop! :)

Thank you! My organizer is the medium and I love the size of it in the Iena! I have never used a base shaper, but have really never felt the need to get one, either. I think the organizer shapes the base enough for my taste. :)

I have that same bag organizer Jennifer! They are really handy in big bags...which is what I mostly carry. Are you considering the Azur? Tried it on for size today thanks to your great reviews it's the next bag i'm targeting for. Jennifer, yeah, it's a great bag was in LV looking it. Love the zipper too. I also went to Hermes looked at the H bracelet want to purchase a silver with light pink. How is your chic clack wearing I'm surprised they do not warranty their jewelry. The bracelet is 600 they should. Do you think it will wear well and worth having. I love the look and free of the bracelet?

My Hermes clic H's are honestly still looking brand new...and I wear them constantly! I was concerned about the same thing before I got my first one. I used to stalk the preloved sites to see what condition the used ones were in...! I don't get mine wet on a regular basis, etc and I don't bang them around a lot, but I live my normal life without babying them and they are looking wonderful! I hope this helps. :)

Hi Jennifer! Great LV videos. I found you on KZread as I'll be buying my wife her first Louie purse for her 40th birthday in the next few days. Until now she's been a Coach girl but she's ready to step up : ) Here's where I could really use your advice. I've decided on the Iena bag. Now the challenge...she's not the most gentle or careful person with her leather goods. Given that the vachetta leather on the classic monogram version can require special care (pre-treating, being paranoid of a cloudy day as it might rain and stain the leather, etc.), would it be best to get her the Damier Ebene version? I could be wrong but it seems to be more of a ready to go out of the box, ready for anything type bag. My only hesitation is that this is her first LV bag so shouldn't it be in the classic monogram? And if you get the purse, you need a wallet too right! So I really like the Victorine Wallet I've seen you review a few times. I thought to get her something a bit different (and maybe even kinda match the interior color of the bag) and so I landed on the Monogram Vernis leather in Amarante. Where I could really use your experience is...it's patent leather. Have you heard any issues as far as longevity? I just picture this patent leather wallet tumbling around in her purse getting scuffed and scratched to heck and back. So there it is. Any input you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Hi! First of all, congratulations to your lovely wife! She will be so happy when she sees her gorgeous present from you! It sounds like you have done a fabulous job researching all the options. I agree that the Iena is a great choice! It is beautiful and practical. I also agree that the damier ebene print is the most carefree and easy choice..........however... are you absolutely positive that she will not want a monogram bag as her first LV? (If it helps, the damier ebene print was actually the first print. The monogram came about 8 years later) If you get the monogram, you might want to get a leather treatment from Loving My Bags. If you get the DE print (my personal favorite), let's talk wallet! SO thoughtful of you to think about getting her a wallet to go with her bag! You could give husbands everywhere "gift giving lessons"! The vernis patent leather in amarante is absolutely stunning. STUNNING. The vernis leather does get a few marks and spots after time and wear, but nothing too bad. It is amazingly resilient considering how delicate it looks. I think you have made a wonderful choice for her 40th gift! Please tell her Happy Birthday from me, and I would love to know what you end up deciding!!

Thanks so much for the reply Jennifer! I ended up going with the Iena in Damier Ebene and the Victorine Wallet in the Vernis leather (Amarante). For those interested in the Damier Ebene Iena, as of 4/21 when I placed the order via telephone (the website stated "Please call for availability"), the purse was backordered. I've already received the wallet and the good folks at LV assure me they're doing all they can to get the bag here in time for her birthday. Thanks again for the insight and guidance. I'll snap a photo of the birthday girl and her new "accessories" and email it you later this week. Have a great rest of the weekend.

The longest I have worn this bag at one time is about 2 hours (so far) and the shoulder straps were very comfortable. Each Iena strap is double the width of each Neverfull strap, so I think this helps disperse the weight better.

Hi Maureen, That is a tough question! I guess my first thought would be whether I needed a crossbody bag more, or a shoulder bag more. If that doesn't matter to me...then I guess I would choose the Iena MM. It is so functional and easy and smooshy and wonderful!! But, if you are wanting a crossbody bag, the Duomo is fantastic! :)

Hi Jennifer, I've watched this video a couple of times now. I'm considering getting the MM or PM size I'ena in Damier Ebene. Did you look at the PM size in this bag? I have two Totally PM's (mono and azur) and I love the size, but I don't really want to add the same bag a third time in DE. The I'ena seems very similar, but different. Would you recommend this in the PM size? By the way, when I asked my SA about the I'ena, she said it's pronounced Yenna:)

Hello! I would definitely recommend the Iena in the PM size if you know that size works well for you! I think it would be similar to your Totally's (which you love) but still a bit different! Sounds like a perfect situation, to me! :)

This is probably the zillionth time I watch your Iena videos! I've owned Coach, Michael Kors and Kate Spade but ever since I came across your first Iena video I started researching LV bags and now I really would like to start my own little LV collection! My fiance and I went to Hawaii in September 2017 and I saw (and held!) this bag at the LV in Ala Moana Mall in Oahu but I couldn't get it. :( Maybe it's because I've never owned a luxury good, but I didn't feel comfortable spending my money on a bag with this price tag... I felt guilty :( Since then, my fiance has asked me lots of questions about the bag. He says LV is too expensive but he's noticed the time I've taken to research these bags and how much I really want THIS bag!!! ..... Oh man! I hope that means I'm getting my first LV this Christmas! Oh gosh!!! (If not, I'll be sure to get it soon ;) - I'm sad I missed my chance to get my first LV during my first trip to Hawaii... :( - Wouldn't THAT have been nice :) ...ahh... Anyways... That is a conundrum! They are both great bags! They recently discontinued the Totally mm in monogram and the one in Damier ebene is "call for availability" online.....so you might want to jump on the Totally if you think you may want it! Personally, I prefer the zip pocket on the front only because I would worry about my phone slipping out of the Totally pockets. xo

I have two Totally bags (MM and PM) and love the side pockets, my phone never slips out. I do like your Iena, but when I saw the gape in the front pocket when you do not zip it, I hesitated to put this on my wish list. My question for you, why leave that front pocket unzipped when you wanted the zipper? Just curious. Seems like Totally would have been a better option. I use my Totally MM 95 percent of the time (and I have six Chanel bags, plus others). I am addicted to how I can slip a water bottle or umbrella into the other side pocket, opposite my phone and 6-key holder.

is the shoulder strap strong enough once you put weight on the bag? that's the only issue on this bag. i own a rivington and the strap is long and secured and i can put weight without worrying it will snap.

I know that the Neverfull (with much narrower straps) can hold 200 lbs of weight, so I am sure this would be very similar, if not more! :)

Hi Jennifer! Just wondering, I remember you returned the other Iena with the canvas because the side tabs might curl, but these also have side tabs. Will the tabs on this bag not curl because of the type of material it is? I'm trying to decide which print I like better :)

Hi Abby! The vachetta leather on the Monogram and the Azur is untreated leather and it tends to curl. The treated leather on the Ebene does not curl (except under extreme circumstances). I hope this helps you decide. :)

Hello. Your wife will absolutely love the IENA in MM Azur!! Gorgeous. I tried a few charms on my bag to see if length was an issue when the bag slouches a little, and all lengths seem to work. I prefer the look of a shorter charm though, as it hangs a bit above the level of the front pocket and just seems to be more proportionate (in my opinion). I love your ideas for a bag charm to add. Are you considering the "pink" version of those you mentioned? The interior of the Azur Iena is pink. No, I have not noticed any marks or wear on the straps from the zipper. I am going to be doing a wear and tear video on the Iena very soon, but until then....the wear and tear has been very minimal. Great bag!

Oh my gosh!!!! :0 No, I have not had any issues with my straps or anything else on my Iena. I would not be happy about that at all!! I am really starting to worry about LV quality, unfortunately. I have not had any problems personally, (except for glazing cracks on my older Lumi's) but I hear of so many issues that I am bound to have something go wrong soon. I am so sorry you are having this problem. Are you willing to give it another try and hope that it was just a problem with that one bag? The Iena is so wonderful maybe if you get another one and make sure to keep the one year warranty date in your mind or on your calendar...check it regularly for issues and then exchange if there is a problem within the year(??) I'm not sure. I'm very afraid of it happening again. Have you seen the Tournelle MM in Noir? I saw it while I was in the store Saturday, and I like it! I would like to see the handles closer though.

Do you have problems with the straps falling off your shoulder ?

No, I have not noticed the straps falling off my shoulder. And they seem to be more comfortable than the Neverfull mm straps. :)

Have you noticed any corner wear? I tried this bag on at the store and what made me not get it was the lack of piping. I imagined those canvas corners would get scuffed easily. After watching your videos, I want it agin! :)

Hi Lidia. I just took a close look and there is no corner wear at all. The Artsy also doesn't have piping and it did not get corner wear either. Maybe it's tougher than it looks. But, good point...I hadn't even thought of that! :)

Good! It probably depends on how you use it. Some people are very gentle and others less so. Looking forward to more of your videos :)

Yes.....I may have an Amazon addiction.....! I have Amazon Prime, and things come so fast and easy. Plus I can find almost anything on Amazon. Lol. :)

Thank you Terrance. I wear a lot of loose fitting tops and whenever I wear anything more closely fitted people think I've lost weight. That must be what you are seeing. I'll take the compliment!! :)

Sorry but this bag looks fake.

who would spend 1,430.00 on a zip up tote bag purse when you can go to walmart or target and get one just like this but with 3 pockets on the outside for 40$ much cheater and then you can more money for purse accessories and more purses. i got the tote bag purse i am talking about much cheaper. i think 1,430.00 is to much money for a bag there are more important things to spend money on like rent utilities and gas. not trying to sound rude just my opinion i think that bag is nice but to much money for just one bag. now if you get bags with it then it would be more worth it.

Well, I would never spend that much money on any bag if I didn't have plenty to spend on rent and utilities, etc. That would be foolish. I have had my years of financial struggle when we were just starting out and I have had many bags from Target throughout the years. The Target bags are cute and functional for a good price!! I am now at a place in life where I have a house, several cars, put my kids through college, have traveled the world and have a large amount of savings. We also give many thousands to charity every year. I am very grateful. So, with that situation, you would probably buy an expensive item that you love, too. I appreciate your opinion and respect your viewpoint on the subject. But we all have different circumstances. Just one question, who would spend their time watching a video on a high end handbag if they are against the idea of high end handbags? I wish you all the best! Thank you.

Who watches a Louis Vuitton video to say it's too much money to spend when you know before you watch the video how much the purse cost?!!!! Don't watch the video!!!!!Only folk who don't have the money care what others spend their own on. #hater

I have the same bag in mono I own a home which she probably does too and has her finances all under control Walmart would break easy Louie’s last for many many years :) preference and moreless if you can afford it many women use their credit cards and pay $100 a month and slowly pay it off
