@@MelissaAdams-Wade my question was whether or not you have to condition your canvas bags because of a dry climate. You answered it perfectly. We have very dry winters in Canada with zero humidity. Your dry summers in Arizona are the complete opposite. A week ago, it was 84 F here. Yesterday, we got a ton of snow - yuck!

I like darker vachetta on the monogram bags but as light as possible on azur. I sprayed mine with Collonil, no issues either and I store it in the dustbag, same reasons as you. When there isn’t much inside I find it can be harder to close and it can fall forward too. Having said all that, the price is still fantastic on this bag, I can wear it shoulder, cross body and top handle and it holds a decent amount. It’s a great buy!

Thank you for the video Melissa. I bought the Croisette in March and have not used it yet. I bought it to use for Spring/Summer but here in the UK we haven’t had any decent weather yet and it’s been raining for weeks. I do intend to spray my bag to try and protect it and I made a little pink felt organiser to keep the interior clean. The only thing I don’t like about the bag is the tassel. I hate that it hangs below the bag and just feel it looks wrong. But hey ho we all like different things. Thanks for the great video. X

Great topic Mel! I’m with you 💯, I don’t care for the really light beige colour of the vachetta when it’s brand new but the vachetta on your bag is the perfect patina. I wouldn’t want it to go any further. I think I prefer it without the twilly, just because it is such a beautiful feature of the bag but I understand why you do it. I sold an LV Neverfull about a year ago on Poshmark and I couldn’t believe how dark the patina was on the handles. 🫤 Great topic!!

Melissa, Great video. Also feel the same about the patina process. Don't really like the dark patina either. Never considered re-buying it once that happens. Maybe it will be too expensive by then...will probably just put a twilly on the top handle to mask the patina.

This is great, thank you! Been on my wishlist. It is interesting about the yellowing…my pochette accessories in azur have always been so much brighter than my noè and 2 years older. I have heard it some of the original azur canvas can be more yellow to start.

Hi Melissa. I’ve just posted a comment about getting the leather replaced and paused the vid to type! 😂 Then you said you’d not replace the leather! 😂😂😂 Such a lovely bag. I can see why you’d want another. The tassel on my Louis Vuitton South Bank does the same thing and splays out on its own so I’m forever fiddling with it. I might use a clear elastic on mine. I figure by the time the leather gets very dark the canvas will probably be yellowed also. So I will probably just replace the bag instead 😁

I love the crossiette. It’s one of my most used bag in my collection. I have it in the DE canvas. I’ve had mine since 2017 and my tassel still hasn’t “sprout”. Lol I don’t know why but it always bothers me. If the crossiette had feet then it would be the perfect bag. I hate how it tip over when it’s not full. The alma bb and my crossiette are my two most used lv bags too. Great video.
