@@NKNeptune He wasn't really that poor, he just had a pretty bad squad. His style of football clearly is suited to teams with large amounts of very very good talent (Real and Bayern).

@@MegaHariboboy or a national team, he was amazing with the dutch national team in 2014 and so far has been good since he came back(he qualified us for the world cup and we're actually seeing progress now).

Considering the squad he had and the failure of the board to get his transfer targets he actually did quite well. Did well with the youth, and Utd actually looked like they were coached. Yes the football was a bit boring but how was he supposed to do what we wanted without the players he wanted.

He never moaned about not getting his players. He got on with the job and tried to do his best with whatever he had. The only thing I didn't like was selling Rafael. He was a good right back

@@Azza.10 Are you serious? He bought 13 players. Even if he had more time it still would have been boring. He played a 3-5-2 possession based game. There were times when he had Di Maria playing as a CM, and then wondering why he wasn't playing well. On top of that he sold players like Van Persie, Kagawa, Nani, Rafael etc. So he basically sold all our good players, bought crap ones and then completely mis-used them. Im glad he went.

To be fair to him he was the only manager to really trust the youth, Rashford is his legacy, Martial is one he bought, they were both firing under him, since then we have NOT had a manager to develop them and other young players. Mourinho wanted older players and Ole lied and could NOT develop them.
