I'm an asian in California but I go to a state commuter school. Never went to those crazy parties that i hear UC (University of California) students go to. Asians can be pretty wild, especially female asians...

She got a lot of bad press about it.

i get that it's a joke, but the fact that she became an econ professor indicates her antics didn't stop her from doing well. but yeah, eleanor still wouldn't be ok with that. though compared to the antics at the bachelor and bachelorette party, those college things were pretty tame.

College is a time to finally young and free without parents telling what to do. The only real responsibility you have is going to class and keeping your grades up (and filling out student loan paper work if that's what you had to do). It's the only time in your life where you can hang out with your friends on the weekend and just party and then go to class the rest of the week. Everyone has a different college life. My best friends and I had a good mix of "work hard, play hard" after undergrad, we all were on the Dean's List, one of us went to Berkeley for grad school and I went to Columbia and we're not partiers anymore, we got it out of our system but I don't look back and think "Gee, I wish I had stayed in more"...We all have a bunch of stories and crazy things that happened that if any of us ever decide to have children (none of us want them yet and we're in our mid-30s) we can always bring up

Never partied in my life and I'm a college graduate but I miss high school. Everyone is so boring and work oriented. And too good for me apparently. Or too busy for anyone. I don't believe in the notion of friends leave or people change and become less fun. That's just depressing. At least since I barely had fun, I won't ever try and relive those times with friends who used me but don't care about me anymore. My friends weren't bad, I'm describing all friends and probably you. And me.
