Louie went around doing this to a lot of the Rogan sycophants, too. Whenever Louis CK and Bill Burr show up on these podcasts you just see such a big difference. I don't know if it's cause these guys come from podcasting or not - you have people like Shane Gillis who seem to fit in a bit better with the older guys but the likes of Schultz and some of Rogan's guys like Kreishner just seem cut from a lesser cloth

I met Louie a while back in Maryland. Cool dude told him how much I respect him as a comedian. And that there's still real fans of his out here supporting him. He thanked me and said he needed to hear that. After the show he walked over and tapped my shoulder and said thank you again. My wife was like what was that about. I told her the story and she was like he knighted you. I was like fuck yeah.

It is amazing to listen to Schultz and CK interact. Knowing there personalities on stage I immediately knew they would be conflicting power battling for off putting dominance. Joe List is really talented off the cuff and his malleable personality and wit made for some awesome "that's how we met" moments lol
Schulz jumping in at every opportunity to show that he understands where the conversation is going makes me understand exactly what my mates told me a few years back.. Didn't know it was possible to hate myself more but thank you Andrew for showing me how I am in conversations

Its good you realised but dont be too hard on yourself. You didnt just do it cause you were born annoying or something. There's reasons behind our programming and nobody simply authors themselves.
I’m gonna go on a limb here and just say that Louis feels the same about Andrew as he does about Dune.

Yes! Would love to see more Louis on the Pod realms
When Louis says he didn't know comics existed to their face with a straight face, it gets me Everytime 😂😂😂. "I didn't do it for you".
Louis is a genius. The 9/11 and top gun joke is awesome
Experience is where wisdom is found. Louis has lived and you can tell. He is hyper aware and that makes his comedy so rare and memorable
Andrew is arrogance embodied. How he sits. How he talks. His mere presence. He's the high school friend who everyone puts up just so they can party on daddy's yacht. The only thing that's keeping me watching (at 13:32 right now) is the hope that Louis will humble him. Even then, something tells me Schultz wouldn't feel it, because he's too afraid of being seen as vulnerable. The exact quality that Louis has. UPDATE: Got through the whole thing. Maybe I was a little too hard on Andrew, but that first 15 was rough…

A little bit too harsh as you've got to put yourself in his shoes. It's your show, a legend comes on, someone he's idolised and he's challenging him. He was clearly rattled. And the genuine anger that people are getting over it is bizzare. People need to relax.

God, List is so hilarious. All of the podcasts that Joe and Louie have done together have been heavily focused on Louie and Joe has handled it perfectly. He's one of my favorite people, closely approaching surpassing my children.

I love the bit where Andrew gets jealous of Louie appreciating Akaash's questions. Switching seats, naming the last leg of the pod "the second good question" showing it's still bothering post production. Good stuff.

Great podcast
The problem with Shultz is that unlike Louis, he spent way too much of his time trying to “change the industry” with self-producing and promoting that should have been spent on his actual comedy.

It’s unfair to compare, Schulz is young. Louis made it kinda older (more baked) although when he was younger everyone around him (Conan, etc.) KNEW he was coming (inevitable.) as Conan said he was ready but the world wasn’t ready (until internet.)
Andrew worked his way to the final boss and lost. Maybe in a few years Schulzy. Great pod as always!
This is one of the few podcast episodes I've watched fully. I can't put my finger on it but it was somehow really REALLY engaging. --- Louie closing off & opening up in cycles, Joe being honest and vulnerable, Andrew and luoie being in constant conflict, akash giving the conversation some breathing room, and asking some personal & really smart questions. ... It was fun... Or.. maybe it was just me finding comfort in some human interaction after being alone & working my ass off for 10+ hours.. Either way it was great thanx for the episode

You got an audible "HOLY SHIT" outta me with that thumbnail. Never expected to see Louis here.
I love Andrew Schulz, 1000% I’ve followed him from brilliant idiots when people hated him, to flagrant 2 with Kaz, I even watched Benders and guy code and all that he’s ever been involved in With that said, Louis stomped a mud hole into him, mentally, comedically, and spiritually I know Andrew loves Patrice but if Patrice was still alive and Andrew had him on, it would have been the same way only Patrice would NOT have been as subtle as Louis
@NGEternal
Жыл бұрын
Yo idk what the fuck you people are talking about. Andrew was enjoying getting stomped on. If anything he welcomed it. The only reason this dynamic worked (and wasn't just Louis being an asshole) is because Andrew also played the part well. I mean sure he asked some sillyish questions but that's not necessarily annoying or bad. Just makes for more funny moments.

yoo been waiting for someshit like this, 5 min in and its legendary already.
The difference in their approach to podcasting and humor clashes on occasion and it’s entertaining to watch.
Man.... Louis depth to his thinking and being able to find hilarity in it while still being able to be serious is astounding....or maybe, and I LOVE Andrew Shultz and the gang a ton and have nothing but respect for them, maybe it's because Louis just comes off as an adult around the immature/teenagerish nature of the Flagrant guys...
