I met Louie Vega and his wife after a show at the Ford Theater in Los Angles last fall (October 2018). We chatted for a good while the valet brought his car around. This was way after most everyone had gone home. Guy was totally down to earth. I let him know what all of that material he did with Masters At Work meant to me as a young ,man in the early to mid 90's. He seemed genuinely flattered and appreciative. Guy was seriously just a like normal guy........with awesome talent.

In 73 I Wass going to Wigan casino listening to Northern soul I still am the 80s 90s I got into quality underground 2 step R,n B .. Then my mate the late David hulmes got me listening to his soulful house mixes in the 90s He was a great mixer So I like all soul music plus Mr dj Louie vega superb tunes I like how he mixes jazzy house and piano tracks into his set brilliant. I'm 66 and still having a good dance

I had the chance to see him at Red Dog in Chicago. It was amazing! I jumped in place for 2 hrs and was ringing wet when I left in the morning. His album Mad, Styles and Crazy visions is my all time favorite. Beat that shit Louie!
