Following severe weather, in the form of Storm Agnes, an unexpected break in the weather had to be taken advantage of.
Winds at 1000ft were still around 17kts from the west but surprisingly smooth.

Yes, some of these flights might be long and boring for some. But keep in mind, it is not about you. It is about the passengers prioritizing themselves and letting go of their stress and life struggles for a full hour.
