@Dav.vid1 that is the best dsp you have. I love it. Just start with following the ts parameters recommend by the manufacturer and flat eq and go from there.

PRV is good but B&c is in a whole different level

B&C makes pro audio loudspeakers, in first case not for car audio...

Hey Mouse, you should compare the taramps mh 420 with those prv's to see which one is louder. I think you would be surprised 🤔. Keep it up.👍

I'm pretty confident you can put a bit more bass on those speakers without damaging them. On the other hand, you should try BPS Audio, they are the strongest competition PRV has apart from DS18. I wanted to run full midbass on my Ma,da 5 but because of some personal stuff, I had to get 4 midranges to fill the empty space while I deal with everything.

Next time leave the top screw for last so you can hold the underneath of the speaker to remove it so you won't injure your hand or fingers

The frequency they are designed to play. Most of the time a woofer will excel more on the lower side and mid bass region. It will play some midrange but it falls off. The mid range will not play the midbass lower freq as well but will play the upper mid range alot better and will fall off alot higher in the freq to blend with a horn or a tweeter

Fs (Resonant Frequency) is a very important T/S Parameter to consider. A Woofer, subwoofer is going to have a lower Fs than a Midrange.
