As someone who lives in Perth,Australia and has ridden Volvo buses there, i love the sound of that.

Its definietly still a thing. All of my B5LH Hybrids in Melbourne do it, and it really does work well as a honk, instead of an actual honk. lol :P

Ha yeah most of the B5LH in CDC Wyndham Depot make that sound and i used to think it was someone honking at us but its just the brake and i love the sound of it,

When I on any Volvo buses the handbrake sometimes makes that noise when the driver release it the other brand apart from Volvo does not have that noise
