Appreciate the effort from him but this master is distorted and squashed. Not clean at all. Probably would’ve been better to sacrifice some loudness and not hit it has hard with the limiter.

For modern music I disagree with you for back in the day completely agree. Except we aren’t back in the day

@2grandbaby854 You probably need to get your hearing checked
The sound is so wonderful.
This is actually useful information from the mix to the master 🔥💯🔥💯
Thank you. This is what I'm looking for.
Thanks Jerry. This mastering chain is so simple but effective. It helped me alot. Props!
I like that your doing videos going through the entire mixing and mastering process beginning to end. It's much more useful than tips and tricks and short form how to video's. This way we not only see the plugins you use, but we learn when and why to use them. I hope to see more video like this for more genres of music ie House, Pop ,Dubstep etc. I could see a whole series of videos like these being useful across all genres given how different the whole process can be depending on the genre. Thanks and keep up the good work!
great Sound Mane!
Big Ups Jerry! 👍🏼✌🏼🫡

I turned the limiter section off and only used the multiband compressor
good mastering channel ! a good tip is to import your master files into "loudness penalty" in order to know how much platforms will decrease the volume of your song !

Don’t thinks it’s accurate
I WAS WATCHING THE MIX
How can you tell the difference between a bad frequency and a just sounding loud bad frequency I’ve always had a hard issue with that because when you turn it up, it’s all bad. So is the trick not to turn it up loud when you’re solo ing or when you’re sweeping
24k ? I thought human can not hear over 20K !

It’s a high shelf curve so it’s boosting a little under 24k as well, not just at 24k like a bell curve would do.
