Saw this in Santa Cruz in April of 2015 - couldn't resist taking a photo in the Trader Joe's parking lot! Had orange rear wheels at that time..

The custom offset wheels in the back is so unique. Another amazing video guys

Loved this. Totally awesome rat rod. I wouldn't change a thing on it. The smile factor is high and so is the fun factor! That Caddy mill has a distinct open header rat rod sound. Vids like this make me feel young again. At 71 yrs old those times are few and far between. Thank you for sharing this

Your content is just amazing and so great to watch we reccomend your channel to who ever listens!, my husband and I have had a a huge passion for cars mainly pre 70's, but living in New Zealand we dont have the amazing american muscle car at our door!! My fav has to be and always will be the Bullit mustang, my husbands being the old HQ Holden or trusty Torana but we can definatly appreciate the hard work, effort and money gone in to the ones you feature. However my egal eye spotted something to the side in this segment that i would like you to confirm for me please...to the the side of the featured rat-rod there is a black Mercedes and a dark silver car, i would like to know if the silver car is a Lotus 30 please? :) Thankyou for your great show!! Running Disc brakes on a non boosted set up will not utilize the stopping power of the Disc brake calipers, so drums will be a little more efficient when non boosted and you get to feel and be one with the system... Disc brakes would be awesome though.

How this survives in Commifornia is a world wide wonder.

When you set out to build a "rat rod", it's not a rat rod.

Thing is TOUGH

not a big fan of rat rods...not sure i have ever seen a hot wheels car that looks like that either, it is "cool" looking and I am sure it took a lot of effort to get it where the owners likes it....cudos to the builder

This is the car version of getting away with breaking the rules by being pretty. It's such a statement, so we'll designed that no cop wants to be the guy who gave him a ticket.
