Considering all he's been through medically - and the fact that he is now 73 years of age - Lou sounds absolutely fantastic! His phrasing is phenomenal - pitch is mostly on point - and he is NOT using a teleprompter. :-) Bravo, Lou and band!

He announced that 2024 is his last performing year. He does not enjoy touring any more. But seriously, as long as people keep paying to see and hear him, why not keep your fans happy. I would love to see him perform live and meet him❤❤❤❤❤❤

Lou had a brain tumor and surgery. To come back from that and get back on the road again is not easy. I love him so much. Sure he doesn’t have the exact same voice as he did back in the day. I just love his voice and heart. He gives the fans 110 percent of what he has. I think he has the most impressive voice and talent in rock history. People can say whatever they want but Lou is amazing!!!!!!

@@michaelackerman3823 oh 😮… that’s a lot to come back from and don’t think many would want to. He still sounds amazing and you can telling he’s giving more then 100 percent for his fans… he’s a true champ and gotta love his drive and determination to keep belting out his greatest songs….

Since his brain tumor surgery he has been and must keep on taking multiple medications as long as he is alive, but at the beginning, the volume of medications were massive and some of sideeffects caused him to gain massive weight, loss of memories and the change of his voice, et cetera, yet, despite his doctors order to rest, he was forced to perform due to the obligations the band management made pre-discovery of his brain tumor. It was a quite struggle for him. People who didn't know anything about his medical conditions were shocked to see him like that😢. Since then, he talked about negotiating with and convincing doctors to reduce the amount of medications little by little as his conditions improved but he is probably still must take them daily for the rest of his life. His recovery is remarkable. For me, I understand he can never go back in time as far as performing goes, but still, some of his live shows are quite good and sometimes, he has some not-so-good-days shows, that's OK. If I want to listen to his great singing, I just go watch his old videos. There are tons of them, LOU ONLY!🤩

One of the best, and most distinctive voices in the history of rock ‘n’ roll. Let’s face it, though, he’s not what he used to be. He could never handle fronting his old band now.

All he needs is to join a gym and lift free weights to get back in shape. His voice is still good but he seems tired. He needs to focus in his health so he his singing will ge as powerful as it once was.

While he mostly pulls it off, I think it's time he puts his feet up. Take a page out of the book of Seinfeld or Peter Cetera or Tina Turner. It's best to go out at the top of your game than have people whisper about how good you used to be. No offense to Lou but when it's time, it's time.

Don't be so negative. In Europe we have several great rock front men, you have few and Lou is a legend. If he came from my country we would honour him properly. Watch, listen and applaud him because one day this legend will be gone and you'll have the Weeknd and Justin Bieber.

@@simonajugarih3620 I am not being negative. I am being realistic. Lou, like many other rockers, had many many years of success because of his incredible talent. However, time takes its toll and nothing lasts forever. As a fan, I prefer to remember artists in their prime than to watch them struggle to hit notes. That is also the reason athletes retire. I do agree with your last statement that there is no one to replace these guys when they are gone. There are no more Elton Johns or Billy Joels or Lou Gramms. That is very sad.

@@beegee1323 I partly agree with you. But, I still enjoy seeing him so he must be doing something right 😆. It doesn't have to be perfect. I would love to see Lou, but bands like Bon Jovi or Guns and Roses are done for me, ....
