Yes, we cambodian harvest the seed for coconut dessert, and the stalk is for soup, can be eaten both. Also the lotus leave is used for food wrapping in replacement of Saran Wrap.

We cambodian, harvest the lotus stalk for soup and the seed is for coconut dessert or snack. The lotus seed dessert is very flavorful.
