LOTUS EXIGE S - THE PINNACLE OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Simply the best!!! I just can't put into words how raw and exhilarating this car was to experience. It's well and truly set the bar so high, that it seems unfair to compare it to others cars that I have reviewed. It's a go-kart on wheels and every second in this thing makes you want to sing!

    This car is like a mental weapon. I discovered the Lotus 1 week ago when I got a lift with an client and the exige is now my absolute favorite car. I’ll buy one soon. It’s a real beauty. No luxury 100% performance = perfection

    Love the enthusiasm! It’s very difficult not to love a Lotus - they are special little machines. The only thing to improve the car would be to get the hardtop off. That would be bliss.

    Oh but it does! The hardtop comes off in about 5 minutes with practice and the Elise's canvas roll up top fits right in when you need to park it. I gave up a little weight savings for a strong audio system and the combination of music, open sky, sublime handling, constant thrust to 8k, and screaming supercharger it truly is driving bliss.

    I miss my exige a lot i have to say. It was running 280bhp with stage 2 exhaust, tune, injectors, fuel pump and induction. The only reason i sold it was that it was a 2nd car and was a pain to keep clean, taxed, tested etc after the initial novelty began to wear off. On a summer day there was nothing better though.

    I've been tuned in to this exact frequency of what car can provide an upper level of pure joy. It is key that one's head is maintained in the correct geo-stationary orbit to appreciate it as one of those costly life expansion opportunities. He's dead right about needing to chase a more aurally satisfying engine configuration to reach thatultimate pinnacle - I think this sounds great I must add. The pickup of revs would certainly get me looking on the approach, but much like a Golf R32, Audi RS3 (5 pots are pretty fucking rad)etc perhaps a little more interesting than the waves of XR6's, Subies, VY SS's,RB25 '33's that will always be good in their own way but over the years as the ears have become collectively rinsed out through familiarity and in turn some undeniable level of contempt manifested. Yeah a V10 to enjoy for sure - for me a more modest form perhaps an older M5 would be interesting. Thing about having the sports/supercar looks also is that when youre out and about and getting on it as able once people see and register what the hell it is, how good it looks, whats customised and whats OEM nowadays they arent surprised one is driving such a "capable" (non-shitbox obviously as the paint and wheels are simply too nice) Blah rant pfft sorry. Kudos, this car is the shit. Dont care who Colin Chapman is. Nah, no engine swapping this unit. I'll just keep eyeing off those later model Evora S's and hope to scrape in something like an older P100D Model S soon to recoup some life points. No drama, less mess and fuss traffic carving fuelless under the radar would be epic for a short while/recoup those demerits. Loved the review bloke - speaking to the hearts of many .So honestly amusing to hear it oncemore described. P.S.-. I swear you are saying "Hia" as opposed to literally "here" - there I said it. Pronunciation eh. Keen to see any Aussie "IS300" upgraded from BEAMS Lexii out there. 2JZ equipped sedan being overlooked less and less of late - a serious on. Official request for the channel IF and WHEN. Chz.

    Definitely sounds like you are a true car guy yourself too and agree with you on a lot of which are said. I do see you mention Golf and RS3 though... although I cannot argue with their impressive power figures with minimal effort, along with their amazing performance figures, they do feel quite soulless unfortunately. V10 M5 is one that was on the waiting list for me to review, but unfortunately the owner sold it, so I'll have to hunt another one down... RT10 Viper is on the cards to review though, which will take place later this year - 2 very different V10 engines, but will be interesting to experience that 8L of torque from 0rpm! Glad that you enjoyed the video mate and my pronunciation can be the worst sometimes, so I'll cop that one sweet hahaha Have a 1JZ powered sedan review coming up soon, so hopefully that can quench your thirst a little bit.... along with a very high powered Supra!

At Simply Sports cars in Artarmon or you have an alternative? Thanks heaps mate! Oh just heard you drove 10 hours from Sydney, so assuming Melbourne?

    It's a shame it's so uncomfortable. Don't really see the point having such a light car so stiff with a bad seat. Even race cars have a decent seat even if the suspension is hard. It's important to be somewhat comfortable in the seat so you can consertrate on the race.

  • @TalkTheTorque

    @TalkTheTorque

    Especially with the upgraded suspension, definitely a more track focused car. With a faultless road would be a lot more comfortable. All in all though, the hurt back was worth it. An experience I hold very highly!
