Woah, I thought you were all about the details bud. Reinstalling rusty bolts and washers, after repaint, check the shoddy work in the foglight cups. Gouges and deep scratches. Disappointing. I know it's about the suspension but have seen the whole episode , Great mechanic.

"...No iron to rust in [stainless steel]..." Stainless steel is an alloy of iron, chromium, carbon and possibly other elements. It definitely contains iron, the chromium stops it rusting.

I am sure that, when you wrote that, you felt there was a valid point to it. But I am not entirely sure what that point might be or its actual validity.

At about 8 minutes he says "...because it's made out of stainless steel, there's no iron to rust in its chemical makeup..." Iron is one of the major constituents of stainless steel. Clear now?

@@frankhaney8535 It was clear when he said it, what isn't clear is why you felt the need to point it out. I would think everyone knew that, since steel is an alloy made from iron ore. Unless this is a game of 'point out the bleedin obvious', in which case I apologise and add, petrol doesn't burn, it is the fumes from the petrol that burn. Your turn.
