no not really it was made specifically FOR him and his cats, so the cat's are going to play with it and use it, also even if he didn't want the cat's to play with them the cat's are going to do it anyway because cat's give zero forks about anything except food and attention (and of course being a cat lover myself I mean that in the kindest, most sincere way possible :3 )

Seriously though, you reaction was great, but seeing the kid get his Groot swing was ten times more satisfying simply because it was a child feeling jubilation. By the way, what did you think of Battle of Five Armies? I know you mush have seen it at midnight like I did.

Truly awesome!!! The cats play with both of them every day. Nothing is cooler than coming home and seeing Frodo trying to get at the eye, and Sam napping next to the tree on top of the Hobbit hole. Great job Tim and Team!!!

Popcorn Thanks for checking out Drunk Tech Review. And, yes, they did a freaking amazing job. The Barad-dûr is practically indestructible, and it's hysterical watching Sam (the black cat) attempt to reach the eye (so far unsuccessfully).

It's hard to say when we didn't see them for much more than a few seconds. Cats usually prefer to poo in privacy- there were quite a few people (including strangers) in the room so it's no surprise that they didn't go toilet in it the moment they saw it. They first went inside to check it out and learn what it is- most cats do when you put a new object in a room, Another thing to consider is that if a cat is used to a particular litter box already, they might not immediately start using the other one. Cats can be fussy when it comes to them... litter type, depth and coverage can are all factors when a cat is choosing to use one or not.

I like how the guy (I don't know how spell his name) is saying how much his cats are loving this and also when he's holding Frodo, Frodo has this look which says, "Put me down." Or, "Why are you embarrassing me like this?"

This is so clever and charming. The hobbit hole was especially adorable, though better suited to smaller cats than in the home. The Sauron scratching post cannot be beat! Too cool.

I have never fully read/watched lord of the rings but I do love cats and custom builds, when I saw this on the sidebar it really caught my eye. May I say this is amazing and even though I havent read/watched lord of the rings I would love to own this for my cat ( I dont have a cat at the time of commenting this but I still wish I could get it for my non existent cat )

In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, cat shit infested hole, filled with cat poo and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.

To sum it up, larger cat has major food allergies since kittenhood, and the only food she can eat makes her fat as a byproduct. Frodo is a healthy weight for his size.

Dasha D That sucks, have you perhaps tried raw food for him? My cat "Shatner"has mouth issues and he eats nothing but beaten eggs half the time. The rest of the time he gets moistened dry food and sometimes fish I blend up for him. Its expensive, but I love my critters.

Arbhall McDougall as most cat owners know, cats are a pain in the butt when it comes to food and being super picky about it. The allergy is chicken, and most cat food is made with chicken protein present in it. We've tried every food under the sun, and the only food the cat will eat is Hills Prescription Diet Low Allergen Z/D (which is about $65 per bag >.

The tree on top of that litter box will be destroyed within the month.

Because cats have to use litterbox. If they made a bed or something for them to sleep in, it would be useless since cats sleep pretty much anywhere... Like their owners face, arms, bed, inside the wardrobe. Etc.

I thought the same thing, until they mentioned that "Sam" (the black cat) was female. Frodo's definitely a masculine name, but Sam is a unisex name. It would be pretty awesome to have the reverse, but you work with what you've got.

Well there’s two types they use: •Expanding foam which comes in a can And •styrofoam

Very well done. Great job. I don't mean any disrespect, but what is up with folks that can CLEARLY afford to have this stuff made getting cool stuff like this for free all the time? What about those of us that can barely afford to pay one bill let alone go to New Zealand THREE TIMES?! I never see those people getting anything cool like this. Just because they can't afford to to travel nor fill their homes with products, it doesn't make them any less of a fan? If I could, I would live in a custom house built like a Forerunner structure from Halo Combat Evolved with Spider-Man somehow thrown in for good measure. Or at least paint a tribute morale on my wall. But it's never going to happen simply because we I don't have the funds for it. Sorry if this sounds petty. I don't mean to. I'm happy for him and his ability to travel, etc. But it just seems like a huge waste to give free stuff to those that can clearly afford it already without hurting their finances. Especially when when there are just a big fans around that are starving for simple fan based stuff. Once again, sorry if that came off as mean or as a attack.

Why do you expose your cat to lots of poisonous stuff? PU foam is definetely not usweful to animals which are accustomed to chewing and scratching almost everywhere to sharpoen theit teeth and claws. I recommend the use of wood instead of platics!

Alright then, make me a life sized super star destroyer with working turbo lasers and tie fighters that can fly.

i remember watching these and thinking "Imagine if a got gifted one of these Super Fan Builds".
