This is one of the many hilarious parts on the LOTR DVDs where the cast share stories about each other. This one is about Dominic and his near death experience with a splinter. I personally thought this was hilarious, so I've uploaded it for everyone else to enjoy. =)

i can't get enough of the way Billy says 'splinter' :)
I love how Dom can take something so tiny and make it sound so traumatic and intense. I love both Dominic and Billy so much.
DOM: "Billy Boyd's a unique guy ... I'm so - just - blessed to have met him, you know?" BILLY: "Dom's an idiot." Two little hobbits ... they are so cute, the two of them!
"Dom's an idiot." *evil psycho laughter*
I love the ending when he starts to laugh while speaking. he's so cute! the way he says splinter and his accent!!!

Billy's laugh though...TOO. MUCH. CUTE.

In the last few frames, when Billy's making an impression of Dom, it actually looks like Dom's face..

1:42 he's starting to laugh before he can even get out what he's trying to say :) so cute
Whether it's the behind the scenes extras, or the commentaries, every time I hear/see Dom and Billy, I get all giddy and I laugh and giggle at almost everything they say. Not just because I'm a big fan, they're just natural comedians. Very funny.
I would do anything to have been in those movies ugh

they r both so funny!!! Just the way they talk about each other...its hilarious!!! u gotta love em. :D
What's so awesome is that Pippin and Merry are close friends in the books and the actors that play them instantly hit it off, which shows on film. Aw, it's so awesome!

I love how Billy says idiot :3 I can do most accents, but I've yet to grab his. I just CAN'T do it. It's too beautiful. I love his laugh so so much :D

God, I hope that the Hobbit feet that Martin Freeman wore while filming all the Hobbit movies gave him better protection from serious injuries than the Hobbit feet gave to Dom and Sean in the original Lord of the Rings trilogy.

its fuckin incredible that the closest of the cast ended up being the people who canonically in character are cousins and best friends as well, thats how you know the casting was perfect
And I little silly thought I couldn't love them more...Terribly wrong!:)

He still should have framed it. In a frame 2 x 3 foot to emphasise the size of it. Or at least one of the cast members should have done it as a gag gift to him.

Wonderful orlando had 2 acsedants 1 : he fell thorough a 3 story window and was out of hospital in 13 days 2: he broke his rib and walked to the car dom had a splinter and almost fainted YEAH GOOOOOOO ORLANDO

I feel his pain. I got a huge splinter in my foot once upon a time but it had to be cut out with a razour. I'm just going to say I win as far as foot splinters go unless someone else has a better story XD

It was pretty big. I got it on my birthday party on a practically brand new porch XD a little piece of wood was sticking up, I didn't notice and I was barefooted, and my clumsy self pretty much kicked a piece of it into my foot. My dad did in fact use a razor blade to cut it out, but I made him stop in the middle of pulling it out to take a picture lmbo
Well Orlando broke his rib so :P
