Flying to Warsaw on board the LOT Polish Airlines morning flight. Was flying to Poland for my Grandmothers 90th Birthday dinner that day! So I chose this flight to get there just in time. This flight is still being operated by a B737-800 NG due to the 737 MAX grounding.
The inbound aircraft was running about 50 minutes late and then boarding had to be stopped due to bird debris being found on the wing. This resulted in the flight leaving London with a delay of almost 2 hours! It was quite a short flight over europe, only 1 hour 50 minutes and we made up quite a bit of time. Arriving just over an hour late.
