Ok I just want to say THANK YOU for explaining what the heck happened with CirCrush. I discovered Wildfire back in November, fell in love with it, and was immediately confused as to why a song made by two VERY influential western Vocaloid producers with one of the most popular Vocaloids doesn't exist on either Circus or Crusher's channels, despite the fact that there are covers, remixes, and nightcores of the song with millions of views. Also I would like to point out that one CirCrush song didn't get deleted and that song of course is Echo. THANK GOODNESS that song didn't get deleted around because Echo defined a generation and you can't change my mind.

Oh, yes! Obviously not Echo, lol! I think Echo wasn't deleted simply due to it's massive popularity to a point where, admittedly unlike Wildfire and Crystalline, if it was deleted then people would DEFINITELY notice and ask. That, and I can only assume some kind of negotiation was done after their friendship ended where Circus just gave up and let her keep 100% rights to the song, likely because she was keeping his half of the profits anyway.

months ago i had a Dr.Willy brainrot and i will admit. he is probably one of the most obscure producers ever. i have never heard such a producer have a nostalgic feeling, all of his songs disappearing is unbelievable

There's also MARETU. He deleted many of his older songs. He started in January 2011, and some of his songs from 2011-2012 were deleted, the oldest that they could find fully is called Forced Obedience which is about, well... I can't say that, but it's about adult things. And some more that are fully found, Atashi Baito!, Atashi NEET!, his cover of Enjo Kousai (original by OkameP), World's End Tanshall (is a cover of World's End Dancehall by wowaka), a cover of the band Slipknot's song: People= Sh*t, etc. His oldest official upload is Let's Say the P-Names! which is about the VOCALOID producers names.

There were some masa songs like Crystal Diva 2 that had less views when deleted than Interface had, but surprisingly they were found, so there's always still hope that Interface will be found someday.

Dr. Willy's music being lost media is very tragic. From what little I've heard, I'm surprised they were as obscure as they were, especially with regards to the relaxed Luka songs which are very good.

The chattering lack of teeth should've ben the chattering lack of kneecaps due to how weird the knees bend

Old-ish Ghost fan here. I remember being pretty surprised when I saw that they suddenly took down most of their music (which was in 2017-2018 iirc) and I was worried because I thought it meant something bad happened to them.

obviously yeah most of ghosts work isnt lost but i find it bizarre how obsessed people are with archiving a (then) suicidal kids music, especially since now as an adult they really dont want that online anymore idk i wouldnt either in their position media preservation is great dont get me wrong but it seems scummy to me in scenario like this (plus they arent a huge company or ip... theyre an indie creator)

Big Vocacircus fan and I do like crusherP a bit. A lot of the circrush songs are actually on KZread via reuploads. Most notible other than what's mentioned are the full orignial video of Cristaline and the Circrish cover version of ECHO with both of their own voices. Yes ECHO was actually apart of Circrush, Crusher took the rights. When it comes to Circrush though, it's best that some stuff stay lost. The situation hurt Vocacircus a lot mentally As for CrusherP, the original version of Obey is still on Sp0tify and rugrats theroy has a lot of reuploads.

Obey was taken down at least partly because of Crusher stepping away from Alter/Ego and Chipspeech altogether. And no, it's not the only good Chipspeech song. Plenty were great even upon the release of the program. There's a whole community making content and you just need to dig. Automation, Pipedream, the whole Chipspeech album, and others are fantastic.

On Wildfire being lost, I was actually able to recover the original VSQx file using the wayback machine and a really old link on Niconico. I think I lost it again after my old computer died though

A little update on Dr.Willy audios of two songs were found 9 days ago, Subspace255 & Just Like Trivial Garbage.

My favorite lost song is “Haunted by the Love” by Kian. They deleted the song for personal reasons and I really miss it :(( I found a cover of it, but I really miss the tuning of YOHIOloid,,, he’s sounds absolutely amazing

This reminded me of the first time I heard Entomologists from GHOST, but when I looked up for a translation in Spanish (as it is my main language and I have a knack for covers and translations), I found one with a completely different instrumental and MV. Later down the road I understood why it was that way, but boy was I confused that not only it was a different vocaloid due to the producer of the cover and translator changing it to Meika (I think his username is The Macabre Guy), but also the instruments used and the more open ending. It felt like it inclined more into a creepypasta vibe. It also reminded me of a song that, at least to my knowledge, isn't available in KZread anymore, called Akuma no Shizuku (悪魔の雫 雫井陸 -アニメ) by Riku Shizukui. There were 2 versions: one sung by Miku, and the other... I really don't know if it was a Vocaloid I'm not familiar with, or if it was perhaps Riku Shizukui's own voice. Thankfully the Miku version can be found in BiliBili, but I don't know where to find the other one. Maybe Spotify. Anyway, great video Lu! It's always an interesting sight when there's this type of cases (even if it's not always under the best conditions).

thank you for making this video,it's great that the vocaloid lost media search is getting more popular cuz there are more chances of lost songs being found! about dr willy,we actually have 3 other songs from them(4 in total) and the other songs from the vocaranks aren't anywhere on the net(100% confirmed but i hope someone can prove me wrong) so our only chance of finding any is if people had saved them from back then.....

I've always disliked his music, frankly I just find his music to be a bit too messy and chaotic for my taste. The criticism comes from him using a lot of WW2 imagery sort of romanticizing the uniform and aesthetics. Another is his treatment of lesbian/bisexual women in his work where they're highly sexualized to a point of the lesbian characters are more of a fetish for him than actual representation. That, and there is a trope with LGBT+ romances in lazy writers where said character is the one faced with constant misfortune or dies while the straight characters are unharmed/happy. Considering his entire series is about a lesbian couple faced with a curse of constant misfortune, agony and torture? YYeeaahhh, I can see why people view it as a yikes moment.

Issue 1 Masa went on a copyright strike rampage due to one of his songs being reuploaded onto Sp0tify by a minor that was making money off of it. Masa complained about a song (The Spider and the Kitsune-like lion) becoming a meme (SEGAAAAA meme) before this incident and hated it because his newer works not getting attention. The reupload was his breaking point. Masa talked about the situation and encourage his fans to D0x the minor. Masa then mentioned talking to the kids school. After this Masa reposted a bunch of vent art before the strikes. First victim was despair media, they lost theie whole channel as Masa striked every video of theirs that had songs from the Onibi series. The channel was an English subs channel. Next victims were any popular reuploads using the song The Spider and the Kitsune like lion. Issue two was a song Masa made recently. I can't confirm or deny if this song is culture appropriation as I'm not part of that culture. The song is called Ganeshia. Issue 3 is a found song along with a niconico leak. I am not going into detail but it's considered legal in Japan. Only Western fans have an issue with this one. Adult patch and his likes on Niconico are topics involing thing starting with L and ending in on.

This video reminded me of an endeavor my sister has been having with one of her favorite vocaloid cover artists, a person by the name of Satan / Lucifer. Almost every new video this person posts has very negative and self deprecating things written in the description, and uploads frequently disappear from their channel with no warning due to Satan's seemingly low self esteem compelling them to remove works they deem 'not up to snuff', which has led to some of my sister's favorite vocaloid covers of all time to be wiped clean and for her to search for a good few years now but come up empty on any of the ones she's trying to find. I've tried to help her search, but it is genuinely like trying to find a grain of sand in the ocean that is the vocaloid scene.

Please, help me if you can. I have a lost Vocaloid music video I'm looking for. It's been more than 10 years, I don't know if anyone will find it, but here's what it was like, according to my memories: It's an old MMD video. The first part is Yowane Haku playing on a piano, it's a really melancholic song, I can't figure out the exact lyrics. Then, there's a diaporama of dozen of photos of Haku's sweet memories with other vocaloids. The second part is Miku joining Haku and sitting next to her on the piano, then she starts to sing the next part of the song while Haku is playing, then they both sing together, and more photos are shown. It's probably a song about friendship or nostalgia, and I don't know the name of the video or the original uploader. I can't find it anywhere, I just know it was on KZread when I saw it, but its title was probably in Japanese, and was maybe a reupload from the original on Nico Nico Douga. I am REALLY desperate to find this gem among the old Vocaloid songs. Thank you in advance if you help me. @@LightSchiffer alright well just looked through all youtube results for both "弱音ハク" and "yowane haku". did not find anything that is 100% the original song, however here are some similar things i did find: "【Yowane Haku】 I'll Give Up Singing!" -haku plays piano in video "【弱音ハク】ツマンネ【オリジナル】中文字幕" -has haku and miku "sm18563167 - 【弱音ハク】ただし性的な意味で【ごめんなさい】" -sounds sorta melancholic, has haku, shows various pictures "【弱音ハクオリジナル曲】私は消えてゆくけれど" -honestly have no idea what's going on in this one, but sounds melancholic, has haku, shows memories(?) honestly didn't watch half of them but skipped through them enough to understand what's sorta happening. i hope you can find the song one day!!!

Something to look into might be Voca Apple. Idk what happened to them but they seemed pretty insecure about their work despite having potential. Murasaki-P and their song featuring Avanna “Patchwork Heart”disappeared over time as well. I’m not so sure but I believe there was a chipspeech song called “Out of Order” sung by Daisy by Crusher. I remember hearing it a long time ago but it too was taken down. Does anyone know what happened to these works?

I used to be followed my Masa on Twitter but I ended up removing him due to the whole controversy and that he's a pretty petty and extreme person. Really sucks since I did use to like some to most of his songs.

It seems most most big western producers have made cringy dark songs. I just wish for some vocal synther to make more happy songs and blow up.

@@spark300c There is a reason for that but happy songs do exist. You just have to look for them. Mitchie M is a Japanse Producer that makes a lot of happy songs

Vocaloid is the pick of lost media, think about it song that fall on your head forever and the creator erased the account or the link broke That terrifying to me even when we die all our accounts will be here abandoned forever ending on the dark side of internet until they got removed and lost and the people who we interact will be like oh this person still exist somewhere else but he leave this account so creepy 🤡🫠
