This is the times when road man were rude boys, this is when we used to day American Hip Hop, R&B Slow jams, Jamaican Dancehall, Raga, this is when London was playing UK garage Old school jungle Music D&B ect Like if you remember what I’m talking about. This is the times when the world never knew we existed but now the whole world knows we exist

@@OP-er9tm yeah I agree bro but Like I said that was the main territories that the shootings were always going off all the other side areas ie Tooting, Edmonton, Wembley, Woolwich, Croydon etc they wasn’t suffering gun crime as badly as it was in Brixton, Hackney, Tottenham, Harlesden, you would always hear of gun crimes going off in those main spots, now you never know where or what things have spread and blurred between the lines but such as like, new foreigners new breeds different motives different style. I would say if we’re talking films then Scarface, Paid in full, Menace 2 society, Goodfellas, Juice, Above the rim, and couple Jamaican underground films, they were also a big influence at these times.

@@ralphlauren3907 I had a family member who worked in Scotland yards, they broke down the statistics, in the early to mid 00’s the boroughs with outstanding gun crime (according to British standards) were Lambeth and Hackney then Southwark, Haringay and Brent where in a similar category. The worst wards for Gun crime was Stone Bridge and Coldharbour in Brixton 🤷🏿‍♂️ this is not bias words on road, statistics this is coming from a relative who worked within that field to tackle gun crime. In that period of gun crime in the UK they were considering to a permanent armed patrol within Lambeth and Hackney, that’s why you would remember around that period you would get the red ARV on patrol around myattsfields on a regular basis especially at night and I’m not talking the Stockwell station incident.

I didn't even know he was called that. But I'm glad he made it. I rate a lot of the old school MCs for sticking with a genre that was brand new at the time with barely money in it, and this was before the internet.
