When I was in Africa 4 years ago, I got depressed due to taking malaria pills. I decided to write a poem about my feelings. My goal was to clear my mind and write down my darkest thoughts. The result was “lost”, a short poem about my search to happiness and all of the mental struggles I’ve experienced.
After writing the poem I soon got the idea to also make a video with it. I made a storyboard and wrote down all my ideas. I procrastinated for a very long time, but last year I decided to finally make it happen.

PS. I made this video in Dutch last year, but since I decided to post in English from now on, I thought it was a good idea to post my two latest passion projects in English as well.
Am I sick or am I lost?
Always chasing something
Not knowing where to look or what to find
How do I live life without ever feeling alive?
Constantly fighting… with myself… and my own mind…
Will this ever end?
Do I make it end?
When the greatest highs turn to the deepest lows
Times without trust and any hope
I just want to disappear
Dive into the world
Instead of drowning in my thoughts
Chasing the joy which is somewhere to be found
But why do I keep looking for something that’s already around?
