The Rio dam. It was built in 1970, but abandoned, it only filled with water once

On the rocks below the Puntillo del Sol residential area in the municipality of La Matanza, there is a concrete and steel skeleton which was built in 1972 and was originally planned as a hotel. The unfinished building is simply called the “skeleton of La Matanza” by the locals. The “skeleton” consists of two buildings, each 15 stories high, which were erected on a narrow rock. There are no direct access roads. There is also a lack of electricity, water and sewage connections. The "Special Touristic Development Plan" Puntillo del Sol "was passed by the municipal council on September 26th, 1972 and the building permit was given to the company Puntillo S.A. forgive. The lead architect was José Martell.

Leprosy once was considered a major disease on the island. A leprosy station was first built in the north of the island, where most of the local population lived. The bodies were thrown in the sea outside Santa Cruz until a crematorium was built. In 1943 a whole leprosy village was built on the hill above Abades, including an hospital, a crematorium, many bungalows, an administration’s building facing the sea, and the big concrete church, in typical Franco’s style with a huge cross on the top, that everyone can spot from the motorway. The project was never finished as leprosy was almost eradicated from the Canary Islands as advancements in medical treatments became available at the same time. The leprosy station became a military training facility but the whole place was sold to an Italian in 2002. The church is a ruin but still in good state.

The bunker of Santa Ursula is a former defense system or observation system from the Second World War. This point is excellent because of the wide view of a large part of the north coast. This building is located directly on the steep coast of Santa Ursula-La Quinta. The way to this building requires a lot of attention, because it lies directly on the slope of the sea and it goes about 170 m into the depth.

Looks great Mate +Sub 217 / like 9 greetings I am glad to see you

I thank you, the bunker since the war is over, the sklett the company broke and it was a total misconstruction, the leprosy clinic was never completed because the disease receded and the dam near el Rio only filled 1 in 40 years
This looks so impressive! Although sad when you remember everything is deserted right now. What drone did you use? I make videos with a mavic mini and I really love it
