Fudo having his own heat actions reminds me of Yakuza 1/Kiwami, and I kinda wish more bosses had that. Also, you missed Fudo's Mortal Wound, which also plays out like a heat action but he throws a damn molotov at Kaito

Yeah, nice spread of single QTE and only one input QTEs is nice I'm doing legend run and Tesso had me continuing for almost 20 time just to get his QTE (and the yokohama 99 battle) right

To me the reason why Yagami has multiple button QTE’s is because all of the sequences involves him attempting to take no damage and maybe try a counterattack if possible. Inversely, Kaito isn’t afraid of taking hits if it means putting in one of his own, hence a a lot of his QTE’s involve taking one to input one.

Yup. The QTEs are utterly unresponsive in the main game at times cos even with the correct inputs, the game doesnt register esp when done quickly. someone at rgg needs to fix them

I still can't believe Shirakaba's glasses stayed on the entire fight...

The qte for Kenmochi's second fight is Goated

You missed that one heat action where Fudo _pulls out a bloody molotov_ .

One of the best DLCs

Looks like Kaito is close to taking the mantle of the Legendary Dragon. Not only do they both have brutal heat actions, but they can also tank punches to the forehead too!

Start enjoying Yakuza games when you ask yourself How a single human can use a streetlight as a baseball bat and at the same time stop the boulder attached to it

Why does this have better qtes than the main game😭😭

iirc there's also a heat action in Fudo's fight where throws Molotov on you or something crazy like thay

Since I played this on Legend for my first playthrough, I think I failed 80% of these :P

@@kayla3738 kaito files does not have ng+ so they let you do a fresh legend save to compensate

95% of the people fail this qte when they play for first time 4:30

I wish Kaitos files was its own game id buy it but it seems like its good value for dlc

Nothing worse than failing a quick time event and in the base game, that happened to me quite alot

also Fudo with that y1 triple headbutt combo 😳

Judgment 3 should take it's Yakuza 4/5 footstep of having 4 protagonists involve in the story like Yagami, Kaito, Sugiura, and Higashi.

I accidentally missed the qte when I faced kyoya and I was passed lol

Kinda obvious that Kaito is gonna be a playable character in the 3rd, seeing RGG have already created unique investigation features and chase animations (which was only used once btw) for him. The real question is whether or not he'll be the only main character or if Yagami will join him, I'm sure Tabo will return as a player character tho.

A relatively unlikely yet absolutely great scenario would be going back to the Yakuza 0 Formula with two playable characters. Only time will tell...

I guess it'll depend on the talent agency that's creating problems. If these issue don't get resolved most likely Kaito will takeover as protagonist with Takiyuki being conviently "out of town" Kaito is too likeable of a character to not use again.

@@TheeNero Want to know an even better scenario? We get a multiple protag story like y0 with tak and kaito and we get dlcs like the kaito files where we get to play as sugiura and higashi

What happens if you fail one or more presses of the multi-button QTEs, like the Kenmochi ones, but succeed on the final button press?
