I really hope this park starts getting in bigger crowds and becomes a proper destination for the general public. It looks so fantastic and like they put in so much effort to make the place pop. It's absolutely delightful to see the praise given by the community and I just hope it spreads even more!

It's so cool to see the birth of a theme park! The owners did a fantastic job with planning & designing, & it shows. They could've just slapped some rides in there & called it a day, but instead they created an immersive sensory experience. I definitely see Disney's influence in the attention to detail. Not gonna lie, I'm a little worried for this quiet park in the middle of Iowa. But I do hope Lost Island is like The Little Engine That Could, because it really does look like a great little park with the potential to be a great big park if they can hold on long enough. This channel showcasing them will certainly help.

Shawn and Charlotte, It seems that they are building for the future, a lovely place with so much potential. In five years or more this will grow into a great park. It's easy to forget that a Child's perspective is at a much lower height, so things seem bigger and more impressive. Shawn, do you remember how things looked from your early point of view? Sometimes when I'm with children I try to squat down to get a feel what it's like for them, it helps me to appreciate how differently they see a world that we've forgotten. Cheers, Rik Spector

Probably the same as I made when I had my first ride. That first inversion is terrible.

Love living vicariously by watching your adventures :-) keep on riding! Be great if you did a “wrap-up” vlog of your trip with your favourites and recommendations.

We loved it!

I love all things tiki, so i was sold the moment i saw the grand entrance. I love that this is a family owned park, and the work they've done to make a fully themed experience just looks great. I really hope they have busier days ahead, thanks for bringing this park to my attention!

Sad to read a lot of negative comments from people saying how the park ‘is gonna fail’, etc. You’re lucky to have a brand spanking new park, especially themed to such a high level. That dark ride is world class! Maybe go and support it, instead of being so negative. It’s definitely got Toverland vibes. A GCI would be great here or a next gen Vekoma. I hope the park does well and can reach its full potential over time.

That purple SLC looked beautiful from the ground, gorgeous colourscheme but then, oww that jerk and rut the coaster hit in the first section and your pained reactions reminded me of my one and ONLY ride on Infusion!! 😂😂😮

Lost island is a beautiful theme patk i love the colors that they choose specially the purple color my favorite color. I love you guys and have fun and be safe.

It such a nice looking park with lots of potential. I really hope attendance picks up, so they can survive long enough to reach that potential. It’s so rare that a new ground up park opens in the US, especially one that is family owned.

Never heard of this park but looks like it has a lot of potential. Going to be interesting to see what they do with this place in the future. Its already pretty nice but looks like they have left plenty of space for future expansion.

@@theweakestlink2278 They very much need better advertising. There are people in the area that say they don't know it's open. Adventureland is 2 hours away. Valley fair is 3 hours away. SF Great America is 4 hours. World's of fun is 5. Nothing really of the themed type. Closest would probably be Silver dollar city which is about 9 hours I think. They have billboards around in Minnesota, Wisconsin. Omaha, Nebraska and other cities in Iowa but I don't really pay attention to billboards so I'm guessing others don't either. They need some KZread ads or something. I see Adventureland ads on here all the time but I've not once seen one for Lost Island on here. I'd do a lot of things differently but I'm not the owners so it's not my choice.

After going to all these massive parks the last week and focusing on the coasters, its nice to see you do a "full park" experience...flat rides, gift shops, going through the themeing. This vlog felt very unrushed and i love it.

We were excited about this park being built because it is close to home. The water park is great too.

Looks like a fantastic little park with tons of potential. Hopefully they get more attendance to spur further investment. Doubt they're making a profit on days like this. Probably should have transplanted a few large trees in though. Maybe also built 1 stand out coaster. But they probably went with the dark ride as the stand out. Great video as always.

Ha! I saw you two here that day making this video ;) We came out from Wisconsin to check out Lost Island. It was special to see it in its infancy -already a great park- and I hope to visit again and see it grow!

This channel really inspired me to get out there and start seeing the theme parks beyond the UK. Did a Netherlands trip last year and Port Aventura earlier this year. Energylandia in a few months :)

Looks like a great park. They have a Zamperla Disk'o Coaster. Just so you the names of the two types: more compact U shaped Zamperla Disk'o (one without the hump) Zamperla Disk'o Coaster longer W shaped track (with hump) Great review keep up the good work. 😀

hello Theme Park Worldwide I'm glad you guys had a good day at lost Island Theme Park today I'm so happy its being advertised by the coaster community, I got an idea for another theme park you guys should go to, I don't know if you guys have bean here before but if you guys ever drive up to New England during you should visit Canobie Lake Park in Salem New Hampshie, it's a very great park it has a dark ride named the Mine Of Lost Souls, a waterpark, Roller coasters, and all kinds of other rides there as well, hope you guys have a great rest of your day today👍

This park looks super-impressive! I think that it could really use a family thrill coaster that's well-themed. Maybe a family launch coaster?

The park does look really well themed and has really interesting attractions! And judging by how much effort went into it, Lost Island Theme Park sure does have great potential to be a major travel destination. ^^

The world's best vekoma Slc is the Great Noreaster at Moreys peir wildwood New Jersey. So smooth and tons of near misses and views of the beach

What a great park ! The room For expansion is awesome! I don’t get the roller coaster. Choices… not many people are going to travel there for a SLC and once they get better coasters no one will want to ride that…. The intamin is a good choice! But I agree with everyone else this need a brand new coaster to get people to go! Thanks for the video!

The owners are water park people. When they bought the coasters the really didn't know much about amusement park rides. They have publicly said they didn't know that SLCs are rough and Intamin launchs can have a lot of problems. I would love a new RMC or something!

Love to see a return to heavily themed parks on this road trip, usa does seem to be lacking in them so far

I hope the park is able to survive, looks incredible!

So, i planned a trip with the family. We had a great time. Interacting with the park app was fun to play around with also. We will definitely go back. I wish they would advertise more, so more people would go and support the park.
