i can stay in that field forever, i don't care if am lost. just alone, sometimes i wake up my mind is lost, i dont wanna talk or listen but its hard to avoid people. this music is magical. takes you all the peaceful places

The wind blows fiercely, shaking the trees and making the grass sway violently, while the sad man walks slowly across the field. His steps are heavy as if carrying the burdens of the world, and his head is bowed as if trying to escape his thoughts. His pale eyes watch the ground, as if it’s the last hope of finding something to restore his peace of mind. His clothes flutter with the wind, like his soul that seems to be played with by the harsh storms of life.

The man isn't sad! It's Sunday morning, late Spring, and he's up early, walking from the village where he's a shopkeeper out to his parents farm in the moors, to share a day with them. Look at his shoulders. Even though the grass is wet, he doesn't feel it, because he can see his parents' beloved faces in his mind.

It's going to be okay

This image reminds me of my stay in the Yorkshire Dales in England. I loved it there. No matter how rainy and cold it was, it was one of the best places I’d ever been to. The rolling fields with the fog especially come to mind looking at this image.

I may actually be able to find inner peace with this. Thank you.

i’m sorry to hear that, i hope you’re okay… relapsing is something normal in the process of freeing yourself from bad habits, i’ve been there myself. two of my favorite sayings i’ve come across are “don’t let a slip turn into a slide” and “don’t lose your rhythm more than you can help”. it’s crucial you don’t give up on yourself and fall into a rut, especially in difficult times like this and when it’s tempting. you’re never alone. stay safe 💕

Lamento desahogarme aquí gente, quisiera dejar constancia de que alguna vez existí, que alguna fui feliz junto a alguien maravillosa y única, ese alguien se fue sin dar motivos y desde ahí se llevo mi felicidad y mis ganas de seguir vivo, me duele saber que donde vivimos años, dormiamos juntos y despertamos juntos ya no hay nadie, cada día es un martirio explicar y sacar todo este dolor que pude haber evitado al haber cambiado mi actitud, quizás es un castigo por lo que le hice... Sin embargo solo quiero ser feliz una vez mas junto a ella, pedirle disculpas y decirle todo lo que no pude decirle en su momento, abrazarla tan fuerte que haga latir mi corazón nuevamente como antes de que se fuera 😣

i know, the photograph is amazing! henri prestes doesn't have a name for this photograph specifically, but he called the whole collage "the velvet kingdom" - it's a collection of pictures in a foggy Europe. But I'd say your name fits!

He is too put together for the wilderness flowing around him. Too cloaked to mimic it's nakedness. Too closed to embrace it's beauty. Almost seems as if his melancholy is affecting the atmosphere around him, but its failing to get through to him. Too many barriers.

This lost in thoughts it's so exhausted for the mind and body but many times is genius,a lot of the most beautiful ideas were born when i was lost in my mind !!!!

yes i completely agree! it can be exhausting, but imo it can also not only be genius but therapeutic… i feel like if one lets their thoughts run mindlessly every once in a while, it can really have a calming effect on the mind and body. but ofc, it depends on person to person :)

@@lavinyls i understand your meaning when you mean therapeutic because probably you also had a hard depression wich causes this lost in mi d and thoughts, and after knowing very good the symptoms of depression and everything that it cause you can recognize and feel anyone else into this world who is suffer and this is why exactly you have become therapist and therapeutic mind !!!

interesting thoughts… i would say if you feel like you can trust someone, feel comfortable around them and have a good time when you’re around them, you can call them a friend. it’s true you’re never going to know everything about someone else, but is that really necessary? it’s impossible to know anyone perfectly, inside and out. yet it’s important you share your thoughts with someone you can trust either way, simply because it’s good for yourself… thank you for this comment, it really made me think! stay safe❣️

FOREVER LOST - Lili I sat upon a lonely beach, watched the gulls and crabs devour The remains of one large man, no clothes, no eyes, one hand As I enjoyed the morning sun, the waves had washed him clean I lazed there for a little while and then began to dream And wondered of his story, his sad demise upon the sand. - I slowly woke when day had cooled and found I wasn’t alone A Spectre sat at my right side and smiled at my surprise I was a wanderer he said, a Tramp, a Sailor wild And I pray the sea will take me and scatter all my bones I’ll tell the story of my murder, no profit now in lies For I was just a Gypsy, stolen from my tribe as child. - Sunken deep within the mire of crime, four lads with time to kill And kill we did whenever, we found the chance of coin The guilty and the innocent, none spared or conscience felt The hand of Satan on my shoulder, the tempest in my loins But treachery’s around us all and treachery was dealt When I stole within the clan, a wench I didn’t own.- I lost my eyes, I lost my hand, I’m destined now to roam The lonely shore for evermore, no life, no friends, no hand He wandered back to where his form lay rotting on the sand Sometimes I hear a wailing, from that Spectre in the foam He cannot see, he can’t be free, his anger, hate demand The death of any stranger who happens by his home. - The beach looks so inviting for swimmers to its shore Currents deep and fast, take the unwary to the deep Every Summer takes its toll, the Spectre calls for more The warning signs upon the sand, only tempt the brave Dragged out to sea among the fish, reward eternal sleep There’ll be no sleep for the vagabond, the sand his lonely grave.

i’m genuinely impressed… your sense of rhythm and also imagery is outstanding! i’m trying to get more into poetry: are there any poets you particularly enjoy, maybe with a writing style similar to yours? i’d love some recommendations from you 🙏🙌

@@lavinyls I have written hundreds of poems and I don't follow any particular poet, be careful of others who call their prose poetry, poetry should have rhythm, rhyme and a message even if that message is just for entertainment, if you want an example of meaningless prose which is all things to all people read Bukowski, the master fake poet. Anyway, two more for you SOPHIE - Lili You know you don’t belong to us he said unto the child We found you poorly in the swamp deep within the mire Your eyes bright red by moonlight, grey blue before the fire We knew that you were different, a difference deep and wild And we were drawn by deepest love this pen cannot explain No thoughts could ever pass our minds of fleeing from the pain. - The pain of one so young and cold we took from death’s dark claws As you grew within our hovel, submissive, bright and smart A child, a girl with deep black curls, brown skin without a flaw We loved you more as time passed by and death called once again To take the man that you called Pa. You never shed a tear You watched the Moon, you understood as Nature made its claim. - I noticed then you hardly slept, in silent meditation deep Things would move before your stare, you never suffered ills You would sing verse you weren’t taught, draw creatures from their sleep And they would sing along with you, nightbirds, raccoons and frogs Until an orchestra of sound rose up so beautiful to hear Surprising to myself as well, I never suffered fear. - But when you grew past childhood, when blood began to flow You ventured nightly through the woods following the song That seemed to spring from all the trees, song I didn’t know When young men came along to call, they froze at your red eyes And went away not to return, then rumors began to grow Fear from all the Villagers, the stories, hate and cries. - One bright morning we were taken by a tap upon our door Standing there all dressed in brown, four girls of Sophie’s age They came inside and took her hand, outside a man on horse She knew them all, they took a draught, then all sat on the floor A chant began, rose to a scream, the sound was tempest worse They took her then, she bade Goodbye, her happiness I saw. - I live alone, shunned by all, inside my mind I know When Moonlight falls and nightbirds sing I feel that I am blessed She’s watching o’er my life and trials, she brings the sun and snow And as I age I feel her here when chairs and tables move A whisper low, a song I hear, the plaintive call of her pet crow. THE LOST AND BESOTTED - Lili Full moon tonight, would you like to play? Come with me to the woods tonight We’ll take a drop of the Witches brew soaked in Mandrake root. Oh yes The marsh and bog won’t slow us down, the moon will show the meadow bright You’ll lay with me on the wet dew grass, the Spirits all will bless The love will flow like a torrent fast, the coupling goes on for ages We’ll last all night, through the laughter joy, until the morning light. - You’ll become besotted, deep in love, but I’ve stolen your true Spirit It was nothing but a night of love and now I own your soul There’ll be many more I’ll take along, they’ll all become my slaves They’ll procure the sweet young flesh, the blood to fill our bowl And when the number counts to ten, the first three all will die I’ll take three more to the meadow deep, slaves we will control. - They can’t resist the lure of sex and then we share our blood Oh pretty please my handsome man you don’t know what’s in store The Coven takes, the Coven gives, and you will give your life Hypnosis deep and potions strong, Succumb to Satan’s whore Chained far in the forest now confusion fills your mind Go steal the young when we demand, this is the Sabbats lore. - And when we’ve finished with your soul you’ll sink into the mire Replaced with others young and strong who cry to do our bidding There’s forests deep all through the land and secrets very dire People lost might wander through, lost forever or just hidden We’ll keep them lost till Sabbats time and then they’ll join our throng The wine the Blood, the Water, Life.
