George is a great artistic talent that is obvious. He also has a brilliant soul that gives him passage to a divine perspective. He sees beauty in the poor, those on the fringes and the sweet simplicity of places. Reminds me a lot of Henri Cartier Bresson.

I found this video trying to learn more about George, after raving about my copy of Prairie Gothic to other photographers. This is so great to watch!

I guess I don't get it. Didn't see anything special in his pictures

I wonder that too with many photographers. Good stuff, but amazing? At the very least he was out there to take the images. Any time people have to explain deeper meanings it makes me wonder if it's more of we elites can see what you peasants clearly cannot kind of thing. Get the same thing with Wine people and modern art. Why is the red dot or completely blank canvas so "important" again?

Yuk! I do not like his taste of everything!!!
