    thanks for putting this up - these are good stories, the imagination which has a bigger budget than any hollywood studio does all the special effects especially with a good actor who else here remembers Micheal Hordern doing Wind in the Willows by cosgrove-hall studios?

    It's the cultivated academic detachment that makes the fact that this man is cutting little children open alive and eating (or drinking) their hearts even more appalling.

    You should see the TV version, Mr Abney is far more gropey and furtive and bug-eyed. I have a theory about who the actor based his performance on.
