Thank you. As soon as the chorus came in, I knew right away. I was hoping it wouldn’t take me long to find a comment referencing this Beatles tune. I wasn’t disappointed. This tune is OK, but it just makes me want to hear the Beatles more. BE SAFE. Peace...✌️

The Offspring just jump right in...lol. Every verse in this song is someone's truth. I love this song ❤❤❤.

Dexter Holland, the lead singer, has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, both from the University of Southern California. Dexter was a Ph.D. candidate in Molecular Biology; however, he abandoned his Ph.D. in favor of focusing on The Offspring, according to IMDB. He is also an FAA licensed Airline Transport Pilot. He owns and flies a 2003 Cessna Citation jet 2. And, on top of that, he graduated from my high school way back before I attended! 🤯

At some point, they must have said “there are a lot of people who are in bad relationships with freeloaders, and it is making them miserable or angry.. No one is talking about it. Let’s write a song about that.” Great execution. And the video is fantastic. One guy literally flies in out of nowhere and speaks the truth. Pretty soon, the entire town is on board.

The Offspring: Bad Habit You want a song everyone can relate to and is a release of anger, that's the one. You're right, they have different sounds and are more varied than I gave them credit for back in the day.

Come Out and Play and You're Gonna Go Far should definitely be next. You will know it's The Offspring, but they will sound completely different yet again. I was fortunate to see them live back in the day. Such a high energy, fun concert that was. Typical Offspring.

If you notice this is actually the set of back to the future you can see the clock Tower in the background at one point.

Also, this is the Male version of TLC's No Scrubs

Smart and a wicked sense of humor combined with a great sound. I love this band. Can’t wait until you do Come Out And Play.

Did ya spot it? They're in the set from Back to the Future! That's the city hall with the clock tower they light up with lightning to get Marty back to 1985. :) The Offspring was played at EVERY PARTY I ATTENDED in the 1990s. Just awesome.

there's one word you said in the video that describes the offspring with that single word! RELATABLE! and there album they released this year is just so them, it's like they had this all recorded back in the day n saved it for now 🙌

The video was filmed on the Universal backlot. You'll notice the houses from Desperate Housewives and the town square from gremlins and back to the future.

I heard this song on the radio yesterday and thought you should hear this one. Now here it is! Lol.

Fun fact: The city they're walking around in for most of the video is the Back to the Future set.

You know what? I've known this song since it came out but today it was the first time that I had that same thought in my mind! I didn't have a specific Beatles song in my mind, but it was the Beatles. It was just the instruments they were using. I would have gone more in the direction of Penny Lane but no, you're absolutely right! It's definitely sounding like Obla Di... :)

Uhm, album before next drop was "Days Go By" from 2012, no 15 years between those, almost 9 years though. I know it was pushed back several times from it's initial intended release in 2010, but they continued writing and working on it til it was released

Hey, one of my favorite songs, let alone one of my favorite Offspring songs, is "She's got issues." It was one of their lesser hits, IIRC, but I feel it's brilliant.

Another great Offspring song that no as many people know is Dirty Magic, there an awesome acoustic version they did that you can find on KZread.

They really are a great band to have seen live as well, I saw them with Cyprus Hill they both killed that night.

Have you heard 'What happen to you?' It's by Offspring also. One of my fav actually.

Offspring "Gone Away" came in 6th in 2005 Greatest Hits. It was written by lead singer Dexter Holland in an emotional response to his girlfriend’s death in a car accident. This song was what put them on the world stage.

Hi there bro. Just subscribed because I have watched a few of your videos and I like what you do. This particular video if you watch closely when they start walking across that park with all the grass you will see a big building with columns and whole bunch of smaller buildings around it. If it looks familiar, maybe if you have ever watched back to the future that is the courthouse and some of the buildings that they use in the film. They also used the courthouse in an old Gregory Peck movie called, to kill a Mockingbird, but they only show the steps in the movie. absolutely fantastic video from you.
