The Voice from Australia, he just celebrated his 75th birthday this week, & has been recovering from an operation on his jaw where the doctors removed a tumor removed from his throat (back in 2022)

He's actually one of the best singers. He has a range that few people have ever had. Listen to more, he can sing perfectly.

He's an amazing singer but I think his range is just average. What people talk about is the color in his tones so I'm not quite sure what that means. His range is 2.8 and some singers have a 7 octave range. What his strength is, is his versatility, he can sing just about anything, I love his music,

Google is your friend, from google: Tim Storms But it's not a famous face who has the most octaves of all. This is Tim Storms, a singer in possession of an incredible 10 octaves!!! He's a Guinness World Record Breaker and has recorded material, although has never seen significant success in the industry.

I have seen him exactly 100 times in concert. I love him so much!

Hands down Australia's favourite singer. Not just the most powerful and versatile voice in the business but also a genuinely kind, often hillariously funny , humble and generous man. All the women in Australia, young and old, are a little in love with him 😂❤ and half the men too. He has had number pne hit songs and albums spanning 6 decades from 1967 right up to 2016. His last album released in 2022 went to number 2...making it 7 decades of top charting music. You don't get any bigger legend than that. If you react to more John Farnham you will soon discover just how loved he is. The Aussie will flock to your channel ...❤.

Great reaction to Australia's finest entertainer. He's had a top 10 record in Oz in every decade since the 60s. This is one of my favourites, but he has a catalogue that includes just about any genre of music you can name. I've seen 18 mentioned. Seriously, you can pick just about any song at random and it'll blow you away. His power and precision combined with his stage presence and his genuine love for his audience has made him the most in demand ticket for live shows for as long as I can remember. He was still doing sold-out shows when he was in his 70s until cancer struck. He's apparently on the mend, but it's unclear if he'll ever perform again after having major jaw surgery. Sorry, but you've go no chance of getting him in your basket. He's been a dedicated husband and father for 50 years now. For all his success, there has never ever been a whiff of scandal. In fact the main reason he's virtually unknown outside Australia is that after a brief stint touring with Little River Band, he decided that his family was more important and gave up what would likely have been a very lucrative international career.

@@ThePelagicHermit Yep, Oz has punched way above our weight in producing outstanding performers. I hold by my opinion the Farnsey is our finest *entertainer*. I've never heard anyone suggest that his live performances were not absolutely entertaining.

He has been performing since 1967 and is the humblest, kindest, generous man you'll ever meet and it shows in how he interacts with his audience and his band and crew. It wasn't the last song. There was another 2 songs after this in the next, and final, encore.

This was the last song of a 2hr plus concert and 2 curtain calls. Watch Your the Voice from the same concert, dont miss the throw to the heavens. This was1979, mouth cancer retired him about 18months ago. Australia is the poorer. Watch him with Jimmy a Barnes to.

I could only understand about half of what you said , but your enthusiasm for our great John Farnham is unmistakable . He truly is one of the best of all time and one of the nicest human beings you could ever meet . Great reaction.

You've got no chance with John. That ring has been on his finger since the late 60s and he's still married to the same woman. They have two sons and he is a great believer in family values. That's why he's never made it big in America. He refused to spend the time away from his family that he was told it would take to do so, away from his family.😊 That's another reason we love him so much here in Australia.

John can sing any genre from pop to opera. Check out Black Dog (audio only), it was a mic check/warm up song. Thank God the audio tech recorded it. He is the only Australian artist to have a number-one record (album or single) in five consecutive decades
