Very cool history.
John D Tipton was my grandfather’s kin, I believe. Is he buried at Roan Mtn State Park?
Spent a few nights there with an elderly couple that use to live there. Chester Bailey and Carrie Bailey.

I went up to the Lost Cove a few weeks ago and was thinking about the history that we are losing I wish it could be restored while I was up there I cought some one trying to Vandalize the old truck by the tree And I run them off All places like that should be respected
So is it in North Carolina or Tennessee
