Wowsers! I lost my key to my car weeks ago and the spare was broken (broken solder join) and once I fixed that, it still wouldn't start my car. Turns out that little plastic bit I left out was the issue (thought it was just a pointless piece of plastic), and lucky it was sitting right in front of me as I watched this video. Thanks heaps :D I've just moved my car and now the grass can grow back ;)

After ages of work on one of these pieces of crap, I finally have it running! (Kinda) thanks dude!!

hi the Australian Opel Astra G 2004 id40 Opel chip was in lockout mode and i got the key to add using this tool it is a great little tool to use and they work well..

I used to start my cavalier up with a screwdriver back in the days

Can we use this tools for chevrolet sonic or other chevrolet type ???

How can I get this tool or machine

my ECU was broken. bought a new one thats identical. key is not yet programmed but will this fix the issue of the car not starting? the dash light that you showed is flashing on mine too. i've got a opel/vauxhall Zafira A 2001 1.8

Hi , i have corsa b/c year 2000 x12ne engine , car wont start (fires once, then dies, classic immob symptoms ??), if carb cleaner is sprayed into throttle car runs fine so no injectors working ? ive heard this model uses immobiliser 1 and cuts injectors ? can you confirm this ? i have not read codes with tech 2 or opcom and generic code readers will not communicate with car properly, one was saying immob fault and one said cant read ecu ? would you be able to fix this ?

i think its fuel pump or relay, did you run yours low on fuel ? i may have put some dodgy fuel in mine from a car restoration place i work at, ive not got round to fixing it yet , i drained tank ,put fresh fuel in ......same , so thinking pump or pump relay as i got the car to run although a bit rough, by bridging the fuel pump relay. hope this helps, try relay first ,yours may be purple one like mine , DONT use generic relay as you may damage ECU, and dont swap for the other purple relay (ecu relay) if you have one because if pump relay is faulty your ecu wont work then so you'll be scratching your head even more !

@@dotslashsatan Needs a service too, IN SP on milage counter, just hold down reset odometer button while you turn on the key(10 seconds)

I hv a similar problem with a vauxhall zafira 1.9 diesel. We recently changed the engine which came with it's own ecu of course located right on top of the injector pump. When I try to start it won't start and the spanner light keeps on flashing. The problem is I am from Africa Zambia and I cannot access any vauxhall specialist here. The transponder key chip seems intact and even the spare key seems ok. What's your advice.

It could be that when u changed the engine with a ecu with it the ecu not talking to the old set of keys plus fuse box in engine bay plus others

I have a Saab issue, can't get a access code for the SIM module for key programming, do 2005 Saabs run off Vauxhall software? I can gain access to ecu by telling the computer it's a vectra c, but it asks for a pin code when I go to program keys, the minority of people who do know about Saab I've cort them out lots of times talking toffee to elevate me of lots of cash uneseseraly
