I can't agree more with the commentor right below me (Txmek's). This guide is so crisp. And you actually start with the interesting stuff (core abilities and the class identitiy). Instead of 30 mins of tripod and engraving discussion before getting into the skills.

I appreciate the extremely high effort and quality guide. There is literally no other guide for moon reaper on this level.

What a great video!!!! Ahh I went with spec crit and had my 3 accessories pre bought over a week ago but now I kind of wish I went spec swift. I only feel a TINY bit slow sometimes but I feel like in lobbies with Yearning that won't be an issue at all.

One thing you forgot to mension between spec/crit vs spec/swif is if you have any crit syn in your party your pretty much are spec/crit + swif. and if sup has the crit braclet. your even closer. So, you can be spec/ swift + Crit in parties. Beside this, I think your guide is awesome keep up the good work.

I notice some less dmg without any parts from Death entropy set, guess i need to wait a bit to get some pieces and than full set :) I like the reaper very much and its not so bad glass cannon as everyone said. But for sure you need to know well bosses/guardians and need more skill at the class itself.

Yep, Entropy classes get a noticeable spike in damage values when you get 2 piece of it. By playing Reaper extremely safely, you'll basically never die due to the insane mobility and repositioning. But by playing safe, you're losing a lot of DPS, especially so on a Moon Reaper. And unlike true burst classes, Moon Reaper is still very much constant semi-burst DPS, so uptime is very important. This is why, as you mentioned, it's essential to know the bosses' attack patterns and windows to push out DPS efficiently, especially so on a class like Reaper.

Nope, it's different for every class. The value mentioned in the video is specifically for Reaper only. I do not have a table/graph on hand.

I wanted to ask if it really is that bad to make a moon reaper main. When prog-ing through raids, it's definitely more beneficial to play as Thirst. You just provide more to the team and staying alive is way easier. It's also easier to DPS as a Thirst when you're still unfamiliar with the raid itself. However, if you really dislike the playstyle and want to play Moon, that's fine as well. But you'd probably have to put in more effort to learn the boss' attacks patterns and play safe while you're still learning. Only start greeding on DPS cycles when you're comfortable with the raid.

Hey, got a question about stats on moon reaper spec/swift. What do you consider the sweet spot of spec on it? Right now im running a budget build 4x3 without adrenaline unfortunately :( with 1630~ spec and it seems fine but Brelshaza is coming out soon and I dont know what bracelet should I be aiming for. Im considering swift/crit bracelet to help a bit with the lack of adrenaline and lvl 5 tripods (these are hot and expensive for now).

There is honestly no "sweet spot" for spec, as higher is always better. Lower spec simply means using more wealth runes whereas higher means you can swap out some wealth runes for other utility ones such as Bleed & Purification. As for bracelet, Moon Reapers generally only need a really high spec line; the other stat generally doesn't matter as much. However, seeing that you are missing Adrenaline, you do want to get a spec + crit bracelet.

The most important thing is getting a high spec roll on your bracelet. The other stat honestly doesn't matter as much, but Swift would be ideal, yes.

For the +1, Ether Predator would probably be the best. If you happen to get a lot of crit from your bracelet though, you could opt for Adrenaline 1 instead. But you would probably need high crit roll as well as Precision for that to be worth.

Man great video, I love reaper and I was sure to switch to moon reaper but it is really that dmg increase so low? For all that moon have to sacrifice it seems to me it is not a big win vs thirst. I like both playstyles and yet I am not 100% sure which engrave to select :D Does someone have the same thoughts?

The damage difference isn't that big, yes. It honestly boils down to which playstyle you prefer, that's what's more important.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this. You will be lacking crit rate, and that's huge because you have +110% crit damage with Entropy Lv2 and KBW.

Great guide but I was wondering whether I should take 1752 spec (100 on bracelet) or 1744 spec (92 on bracelet with 53 swift) for my spec swift moon reaper ?

I would go with the higher spec bracelet. Depends on the other lines that you get though.

Yep, you can definitely play without 2 purple wealth runes. It helps if you do have it, but it's not a necessity.

You're gonna heavily overcrit with that setup, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Grudge = Lunar = Ambush > CD = KBW. For CD vs KBW, KBW has a slightly higher damage gain overall, but this only applies when you have Lv5 on your crit tripods.
