Hey guys, a big point I totally forgot to share in the video is don't hone your gear past +15 un till you upgrade it to the ancient gear from brel as you will get way more bang for your buck out of that, honing to +16 on that gear set is like honing to +21 on the old gear system, not worth it IMO much better to convert to the Brel Ancient gear then hone, Good luck Honing!

So glad i came to find this video im exactly at this point and was wondering if i should keep upgrading pass 15, also did i fuck up getting so many mats for the relic? Should i picked other mats to start saving up for ancient?

@@doppelsauger1334same thing for me, what I found is that you can at least convert your great honor leapstones to marvelous leapstones to keep honing ancient gear. Don’t know if you can convert other mats to higher tiers though.

@@doppelsauger1334 you can convert all your mats its just at a 5 to 1 ratio so you do loose out a little but atleast you can still use them, hope your honing goes well

Is the gear in this video already converted to brelshaza at +15? Or is this just the regular relic set the event gave you, and you honed to +15? Cause I thought you had to be +20 to get 1490 from the Valtan/vykas relic set?

@@dash1t12 they revamped the progression to 1490. +15 on relic is now 1490 (which used to be +20). Honing past +15 is still super expensive(like over+20 before)

these books are for 1490 ancient gear and the conversion rate for the stones is the same in the vendor as it is in the boxes to begin with. So you've wasted nothing.

However though... if you want 2 ancient brel pieces at the first week: - Do Brel 1-2 normal, get the first clear box and the bonus loot. - Hone that piece to +16, this will get you to 1500. - At 1500, go back and do Brel 3-4 normal, again buy all the bonus loot. - Craft your new set piece and enjoy... do not hone this to +16 for now! Get it to +15 if you want already... this is how far the express supports it. Keep in mind, this is only for people who try to push to Akkan as fast as possible with their Aeros. You can get 2 set pieces within Week 2 if you decide to wait, and then do 3-4 normal.

So we use the gear of the pass? I got other gear that's from a prior raid I believe but to upgrade it you need special currency from the raid. Great video!

I know this is an old video, but i'm currently trying to get my character through the mokoko express to reach 1580 before solo raids. My struggle is to make enough gold to hone.... I'm 1558 and I am always running out of gold. What can I do ? I do my weekly una's coins, but I can't seem to find raids to do

unfortunately trying to get raids is one of the best ways to get gold, until they bring out solo raids starting next month i believe, but you can also just do some life skilling like making orehas fushion materials those are selling for alot right now due to people honing for t4 as well you can run your guardian raids and sell all those leapstones

the rewards are juicy but they are very stingy on materials you will run out of everything oreha, shards, leaps, youll even run out of blue crystals. im lucky i had a massive stash

I am not 100% sure but I do recall using a previous power pass on a character that was almost at the max of the pass and I did end up getting all the materials, just not sure if it works the same for this one 99% sure that it should just give you everything even if you use it on a 1540

Idk why im playing pally if i didnt made a mistake about using the southvern pass on pally then some other class could been my main now im stuck with pally. Paladin is fun but the responsibility for it in raid just worn me off. I rather just do dps

You get the honing increase % books at reward level 1490. When youre 1490 all your gear is at +15, and the books are useable from +11 to +13. How does that make any sense? You get the reward when you cant use them anymore? Also the stronghold honing upgrade unlocks at ilevel 1490.

Those books are for Brelshaza gear. When you buy a Brelshaza raid piece, and gear transfer your [relic 1490 +15] into the new ancient Brelshaza piece, the +15 goes back down to +12 (can’t quite remember the exact number but I’m pretty sure) and that’s what those new books are for that your talking about.

It depends on how far your main is. I would say if you have just 1-2 chars 1490+ use it on a new one if you have too much chars already go ahead use it on main(wich most likely waste alot mats) but its up to everyone what they want to do with it

@@RTE-Illusionok cool cuz I was honing my purple gear to 1400+ I had them to 14+ so I was like 1370 and then I used it the south V pass but I felt like I wasted it but the gear and stuff I got was so much better and I was pretty close in the story to where it put me so I felt like I wasted the chance to bump an alt basically to a nice spot at 1400 or whatever the pass bumps u to but thanks that answered my concern

i have 2 chars at 1250 (my main is pal) Should i use my south vern power pass on my pal? or should i just create another pal using the power pass on him so i can have 3 char in T3? or create another class entirely?

Depends on how much you want to grind, but if you plan on playing Lost ark a lot then yeh having more characters well up to the main 6 gold earners will be good in the long run, So I would suggest powerpass the alt pally then

currently have my main at 1520 5x3, full lv7 gems, and 5 alts at 1415-1490, is it advisable to use the hyper express on my main just for the ilvl boost?

I would say use the express event on one of your alts since your main is so close to 1540 already, but then at the same time you do get a lot of honing materials to help push you past 1540 so its up to you if you would like to have your main say closer to 1560-1580 or just get it to 1540 naturally and then have another character at 1540 as well

Might be too late now but you can grab the later boxes for your main, and then switch the express character to one of the alts for the rest of them. That way you dont waste the reward from 1415 and onwards

so logged in ... my char is not 1415 ... not eligible for the super express... now what .. wtf grind old school way and hone till im eligible for the boost wtf ?

should be a powerpass to get you to 1415 otherwise yeh will just have to grind it out, but 1415 is pretty free now doesint even cost gold any more and with all the free books and mats should be a fairly smooth ride

I came back to this game and made 1415 but completely lost on what to do after failing so many armor upgrade attempts. Not fun at all.

yeh its a little like that some times, just gotta remeber when ever you hone, that the Artisans energy is the actual hone bar, getting the tap to go through before 100% is just a nice little bonus but I always hone with that in mind otherwise you will quit lost ark very fast

Luckily, I was in my stronghold already on my aero so I caught the new research for the t3 honing chances. And ya Rowen is worth doing as I did it and i got about 3/4 level from completing the story. Havent done elgacia yet. Im saving my xp pots for some time til get somewhere around 57.

the main way to make gold unfortunately is to just do your weekly "end game activities" so raids and keyangel, the best way for orehas fushion well what I do myself is to just have my stronghold farm set to fish and I just spam craft it there with the bound materials from the farm

i opened 100 of those brel relic books thinking it works till +20... i opened at +14 (it's only until +15) please don't be like me. luckily most of my characters are 1540+ so it won't affect me as much, but if you're planning to make a soul eater in the near future you may want to have a few more of these

it does once you hit 1580, is not shown in the thing but it will, I have seen people with them, just not 1580 on mine yet

too late.

luckily it doesnt matteer if people make this mistake or not because they will get gate kept on there new class because people in this shit dead game still gate keep and wonder why in a year this game will not exist.
