Akkan doesn't give you 30 extra essences, it just shares the limit of 30 max essences obtainable from brel hard mats, so you can buy them faster, which means that lvl6 Sidereal is not obtainable without an auction house for a f2p player.

sidereal energy has also a chance to drop finishing clown and brel raid(and akkan i suppose)so it's possible to obtain all the 98 sidereal energy required as a f2p but it requires a lot of time and a LOT of luck.not talking about the insane amount of life skill mats you will need..to me the appeal of these weapons are the sidereal skills you obtain at lv 6, but by the time you obtain lv 6 as a f2p ,akkan will be here and you would be behind once again.

TLDR: You can do it for free, but it will take almost 2 years, if you play a full 6 roster at 1560+ Edit: To make it in under 2 years, you will need to have a full roster at Thaemine HM level (ilvl 1620?). Assuming Thaemine materials will be exchangeable at 100:1 aswell That would be 90 essence. 8 missing for +8. However, Smilegate had talked about increasing to +10 sometime ago, iirc. That's probably another 100 essence total hahaha

this also includes underlying cost of having +25 brel weapon, but if you already have +25 brel weapon, you won't be able to use it until +6, then if you want to maintain it even further afaik you need extra 20 for ella (+8 non-ella is weaker than +21 akkan weapon).

as a pvp main, i just want it for the glows. it also gives chances(very very very rare) for f2p to make gold off the drop. NOTED but dont count on it fellas. as long term players we may get one day but its not a must to get asap

Sidereal weapons allow F2P player to have a chance to have everything else ;).

On EUC there is currently only one sidereal energy out, and the price is 3.2 mill 🤣

@@zap7737 Wdym "Lmao no"? You can get an Esther weapon just from doing the quest. Level 1 requires just 1 of the new mats and you can get it from the vendor for 10k silver. Two more are available for 10k silver each. 30 more are available from trading Brelshaza HM mats with the LR exchange. This is not enough for +6 however. Like I said before and will say again, I do not watch Elly, I have no idea what she said or didn't say, but if she's referring to the weapon itself or the early hones, then there's nothing wrong with her claim.

@@Lucky8s no one is referring to the weapon itself. Everyone knows that EVERYONE gets the WEAPON itself for free. And that weapon not upgraded is basically a tier 2 weapon lmao. Like Memo said, to make it even equivalent to your current weapon, you need +5 and to go further you need a +25 ANCIENT weapon lol which even that, most people will never have. CAN you do it? Sure. You also CAN become a millionaire and win the lottery, but you won't. Anyone thinking there will be F2Ps with upgraded Esther weapons, is huffing Copium.

$30,000 should do the job kek

I mean... You can F2P +5 weapon for your alt. If you park him at 1580 it seems "reasonable"

hopefully newer bosses will add more free sources so no harm in passively getting all the free essence you can and seeing where it ends up.

You do not need to complete g6 to have a chance. A friend of mine got it from clown this week (still working on the Brel prog), it’s so expensive to list he doesn’t even have the gold lol

On SA one sold for 1.8m gold lol.

TL:DR - Whales will have a bad time to get this bs already, for f2p ? well if u farm 24/7 or uses bot maybe u can get and once u starts u need to go till the end that is +8 esther(well gl with that lol).

at the same item lvl, if it is Esther 5 (so 1600) it´s actually worse than ur normal weapon. As far as i know the weapon power of the esther weapon is much, much lower than the normal weapon. At +6 it changes cause you get the esther skill as well.

Even at max, it's miniscule. That's why it's just know as a flex/status symbol. You can get just as much power increase, by collecting all the cards and getting the "damage against demon increase". One of those two, is actually free, just tons of RNG for the right cards. The other, cost the price of a brand new BMW.

If they want to die on the hill with Esther as whale weapons then so be it. Its balancing mess if they decide to make it obtainable by f2p literally future raids are forced to scaled to Esther weapon.

Anti-whale gold sinks are good for the game IMO. Whales will whale on it but the game isn't balanced around it. This makes it unnecessary and purely for the vanity of having "bis." It has a positive impact on the marketplace

This is worse than trying to get Thunderfury when WoW first came out.

Without watching the video i will say, yes. But its gonna take so fucking long its actually better to progress with Ancient weapon instead. You will be getting the Esther upgrades so slowly that its not even worth the investment. Anyway Esther weapon is a trap for f2p and whales.

Esther weapon is not required for any content and it's barely any better than the ancient weapon. Having someone with a esther weapon in your party even benefits you since it buffs the party even if you don't use a esther weapon. It's literally pointless to go after the weapon because even with ancient weapon you are still destroying current content.
