Do not use this video to argue which engraving is stronger - both have their pros and cons. In this video, I showcase the three raid builds I currently use: - 7M Reflux: seven maxed out damage skills + Cursed Doll (0:00) - 6M Reflux: six maxed out damage skills + Raid Captain (3:07) - NM Igniter: utilize boundless mp to cycle igniter quickly (6:13) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Frequently Asked Questions (7m Reflux): ------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Which elixir set effect do I go for? A: Master if you run Adrenaline 1, Critical if you run Adrenaline 2/3 and/or run with a crit synergy. Q: Can I add a swiftness accessory? A: No, go full crit. Cooldown reduction has diminishing returns. Q: CD3 + A1 or A3 + EP1? A: Either is fine. I dislike everything about Ether Predator so I don't use it on any class. Q: Why not a CDR gem on Punishing Strike? A: Punishing Strike is one of your lowest DPS skills, but it is good for burst. Q: Why Wide Angle Attack on Reverse Gravity? A: Makes it more consistent to land if the boss moves. Q: Why did you replace Explosion with Inferno? A: Inferno does more damage and helps you burn more mana to stay in boundless. Q: Why did you use that rune on that skill? A: Runes are personal preference on Reflux. Do whatever you want =) ------------------------------------------------------------------- Frequently Asked Questions (6m Reflux): ------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: What's the point of this build? A: Boundless MP is the preferred state to be in for Reflux and Cursed Doll sucks as an engraving. This build aims to keep you in Boundless MP longer and removes Cursed Doll by using Elegian's Touch. This skill helps you burn mana to stay in Boundless MP and increases your move speed to be able to use Raid Captain over Cursed Doll. Q: Are you capped on Raid Captain? A: In Magick Addiction only if your shield is on. In Boundless MP, even if your shield is off you should be close to capped, especially if you have a move speed feast buff. Q: Why is Squall taken to Level 9? A: You'll have leftover skill points so you can throw them in for more mana burn and more damage. Q: Why did you replace Punishing Strike? A: Punishing Strike is one of your lowest DPS skills, but you can replace Seraphic Hail if you want more burst. Q: What are the differences between 6m and 7m? A: 6m is good for longer fights where you can utilize the CDR that Boundless MP provides to maximize number of spell casts. It doesn't suffer from the healing reduction or poor scaling of Cursed Doll, and is very comfortable since you're in boundless more often. In my testing, its DPS is slightly behind 7m and its one cycle damage is lower due to missing a skill. Both require good uptime, 6m more so since the whole point of the build is staying in boundless. Q: Which one do you recommend? A: Try both out yourself! I plan on switching between the two depending on the fight. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Frequently Asked Questions (NM Igniterl): ------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: Which elixir set do I go for? A: Master for Nightmare, Critical for Hallucination. Q: Is Hallucination still viable? A: Yes, you can use KBW + Critical for very consistent burst. Lower ceiling, higher floor. Q: Why are you using Nightmare? A: It's more fun to me! Plus, it's very satisfying. Q: CD3 + A1 or A3 + EP1? A: Either is fine, CD3 scales better with crit synergies while A3 is more consistent. I dislike everything about Ether Predator so I don't use it on any class. Q: Can I use Keen Blunt Weapon with Nightmare? i think what has been very unexplored for the most part is in gates where you do not need counter you can go pretty much the old build and just replace gravity with inferno + go overheated meteor + shockwave on esoteric and get both of them in twice in a igniter rotation, since this build is harder to have mana control with i prefer to run it on hallu, but it can be run with nightmare as well, the burst is higher concentrated into each igniter but slightly lower number of igniters, very good for bosses with DR mechanics that u can charge bar on (i still have to do more exploring to do on the nightmare side of that build maybe there is more ways to deal with different mana recovery speeds)

Just to debunk something. Rift acceleration ALSO cuts down the animation time for reverse gravity by about 25%. I have slowed down a video with and without rift acceleration to a 1/6 of the normal speed and with rift acceleration, the first tick happened at 4.7s whereas with the aoe tripod, it happened at 6.2s. In addition, the last tick happened at 30.8s for the aoe vs 29.3s for rift acceleration. So it doesn't accelerate the tick rate of the subsequent hits.

I didn't really feel a difference when testing but I'll take your word for it! I think I'd still take wide area attack for comfort and consistency.

@@ivangho6319 It depends on a few factors. First, do you have spell regularly off cooldown waiting for your cast animation to end? If no, then rift acceleration is worthless. If yes, then it goes to "Does the boss regularly step out of your aoe but barely?" If no, rift acceleration is the answer, if yes, aoe is likely better.

I don't think I could recommend any all out attack reflux build, but if you want to run the 3 big spells, take the instant cast tripod on PS and EX and replace SH and IF.

as reflux is the opening rotation you used here in trixion what you use to hit boundless in actual raid? curious if the rotation to get to boundless is something you think about or if you just use whatever until you go boundless. thanks

Hello! I'd like to ask u a question: I cut a 8 grudge 8 adrenaline stone on my sorc. This means I'm forced to use adrenaline 3 and I've decided to get hit master 1, the final build I'm using is: reflux grudge cursed doll adrenaline keen blunt 3 and hit master 1. Was that a good idea? Or should I change that +1 hit master with something else, for example ether predator 1? I'm referring to the new sorc patch ofc 🤔😁

Igniter definitely benefits from higher level CDR gems so I'd imagine Reflux is better with low level gems.

It's not a big enough difference to matter for who you should play, and this test isn't at all indicative of how these builds actually perform in normal content. The two sorc builds play entirely different so you should ask yourself if you want to play a hyper mobile uptime class, or an immobile burst class. I know I'd never recommend reflux to most of my friends because they like seeing big numbers, so if that's you, I'd definitely recommend igniter. If you can give reflux a try without spending a lot, I'd go for it because I personally find it to be the most enjoyable build in the game.

i dont think there is a big of a difference, both builds will work with 7th, maybe reflux would have more problems sustaining mana state due to longer cooldowns

I truly dont understand. I copy the exact same setup, and besides the bracer difference, I can scarcely get 26M dps on 7M reflux. 1634 sorc, 25 weapon, 99q, save engravings, spells, runes, everything, 100q all accessories, except for the bracers (116 swift, 84 crit, 3.5% fervor, 4% precise). I always end up leaving boundless around the same time you do, then dps takes a big dip. Also I dont understand why when I do it it shows my pet crit buff and my pet is out, and yours doesnt, and yet you have 80% crit. I literally can't make sense of this. Nevermind, looks like the issue is the elixirs - most of mines are 5/5 but not double damage. Thats the only explanation that seems to make sense.

@@arcfaire the 2nd one o 3rd row that makes it so u dont have to spacebar after rime. Literally point and click and move on. It is barely less dmg and much better QoL having spacebar freedom

I'd say 90% -> 60% is a pretty big damage loss - just don't spacebar cancel if you need spacebar that much. You're playing Reflux, you have blinks to cover your spacebar.

why not play explosion instead of punishing strike for 7M? i feel the dmg is the same and explosion is faster animation

There's a lot of encounters that require counter or is good to have it, so I'd rather just always slot it in.

Doesn't matter for me if igniter is better or not. I just enjoy reflux.
