Maybe they should have said to join a new player oriented guild, because otherwise people will bitch at you non stop for not having mechanics memorized, cause they run the raid 20 times a week, vs you are trying to get your first 3 runs in

Great vide something i was looking for as a new player!! I play on na easy only thing i can say is its a hassle trying to get partys for early abyssal dungeons and guardians i wait almost an hour + for a matchmaking or creating partys

Correction on losing Argos gold. You lose it when you reach 1475 not 1470. It even says it where you scrolled over it.

Questing up to 50 took a long time but was fun. I took my level 50 character with 302 gear and stopped playing for 6 months. When I came back, I bought the $50 booster for South Vern. I was excited to get the updated armor and whatever perks came with it. What I wasn't expecting was that it would bypass all the questing in Yorn and Punika completely. Then, I couldn't find anymore story quests for my level at all. It was just grinding for gear upgrades and even then, you still had to have components which would still eventually run out. Get ready for your gear honing to fail a lot. You will also lose a lot of components. I got to like 1415 and then stopped playing again because I ran out of a certain small yellow gem and it was monotonous and boring. I hate to bring World of Warcraft into this but I think they do expansions properly. You can still boost your character up but they make you do the storyline for the next 10 levels. You don't bypass any quests from the new expansion. This is what Lost Ark and other MMOs should do. Boost to a certain point but don't cut out all the quests for the new content. In this way, the game is somewhat poorly designed. It's just another money grab. So, I left again to go play World of Warcraft and it's a lot of fun.

same here. i stopped playing in april after i finished Punika. Are you saying that today there is still no new content in terms of story line after Punika? i wanted to jump back in but if nothing really changed since april 2022...im not jumping back in

I think this is worth to mention that using a power pass is removing your yellow quests from luttera which are rewarding a player with engravings, yet such character will not receive engravings for using a power pass. The only way is to buy them from trading post what cost gold

They dont hate newbies, they respect their time and finish raid in time because they have 20+ legion raids per week plus dailies etc... As you know, its time limited and it reset weekly

Who are you to tell someone to play with someone new when they may have 6 or 15 characters of weeklies to get through? There are plenty of newer roster groups and learning groups, what you want is a non-conditional carry. Buses are even a joke in price now at worse. Stop blaming others, people who want a higher probability of a faster set of weeklies will want to group with people around their experience/gear level. There's nothing wrong with that, just your attitude is wrong. It's not just "OMG NEW PLAYERS" either, you could be 1540GS but if you don't have a clown title to show you've cleared it people will pick someone way lower than you, and RIGHTFULLY so, because some raids it just takes one person to completely waste your time and resources. You make your way up, join experience appropriate groups (if it's such a problem then there should be plenty of people in similar situations) instead of bitching you work getting your clears, then you get your title and the reward of access to faster groups.

The guide is good, but I can save your time, guys, and tell you: not to play this game if you are looking for the end-end-endgame as F2P. Building a good roster with at least 2 "juiced" characters will take you A YEAR of playing almost EVERY DAY with the roster of 6 characters. Basically the later you start, the more doomed you are, as the game is pay to win and AH prices become worse every month(regardless of region you play), and it is just very unfriendly towards new players. I myself try not to "gatekeep" low roster(new) players, but in 99% of cases you will spend time paying for busing in raids and by the time you set up at least 1 character 5x3 with gems you might feel burnt out(unless you are a support) and not want to do the content you have been paying for by yourself. Therefore, most of the time you will find yourself not actually playing the game or not playing the classes you want(if you enjoy multiple classes), as nobody wants to play with new players(even if your setup is kinda okay and enough to clear that particular raid), unless those new players are overgeared whales. But if you are a casual who does not want to clear all the content and maximize your character or simply a PvP arena enjoyer then go for it. You won't be restricted much, as most of the horizontal content doesn't require high item level and PvP arenas are equalized.

What a load of absolute rubbish, nothing you said is remotely true. Definitely a L2P issue here, stop projecting. I have plenty of friends who aren't whales, or came back after 6+ months break and are all Brel ready. You just need a lot of hours (like all grind MMOs), and to play your roster smartly - you could get away with 3-4 chars on rested if you wanted to. Starting now you can skip about half a year of nonsense people had to go through with all the catch ups in place, so yeah stop projecting and spreading false information.

why not play a real mmo?

This is all so unnecessary and overcomplicated. It's like they went out of their way to make it this complicated.

As a new player the first thing you should do in this game is uninstall it.
