I mean honestly it's in a great spot now and if u haven't yet I'd least pop in and accept the event cuz it gives u free brel gear and a bunch of wild shit for free. To catch-up and there's like a 20 min quest event to instant finish most rapport islands a log giant hearts omnium stars etc like all the time gated horizontal content I had next to none of it done and today I did it all on a fresh t3 toon in maybe half hr tops

@@milancerpwns9358 its not in a great spot. You still can't reach the endgame in an appropriate amount of time if you are new or even returning. The amount of mats it takes to hit 1630 is crazy. Not to mention you still have 2x chaos and daily unas.

For static class it's going to be so much fun but slow class that do not have a lot of paralysis immune on skill well gl :p

Behemoth being easy is making me want to play as required hard raids for progression is wearing thin on me and likely many others. Both the raids after Theomine seem to be moving in the right direction (2 gates and easier). The issue is them saying the Kazeroth raid being hard/very hard. They just need to make normal easy for pugs and make hard be actually hard. And have power progression for both normal and hard equal like Akkan or Kyangle.

Support ratio is like one dude with 3-6 supports and 12-18 other individuals with one main DPS. Data says it's "balanced", but anybody with a braincell or actually plays the game knows that one dude cannot fill multiple lobbies at once. Not to mention all of their main endgame supports are very likely in statics anyways. Also releasing multiple blatantly OP and flashy DPS classes in a row just makes it more likely nobody's going to make a support, especially with 2/3 of them being ancient.

Solo content is very good idea. In World of Warcraft old raids are soloable.

Ye but in lost ark you will have to do the mechanics in solo raids. In wow old raids are all one shotted and being done only for cosmetics

Solo mode might have just saved this game for me....been avoiding this game for a while. I look forward to hearing more about this in the future.

The major upside with DPS meter has been to test the viability of builds. For example, someone in our static did a test on mass increase deadeye and the dps is nearly identical to entropy deadeye which would've only been possible to know with DPS meter. Funny enough mass increase deadeye out performs gunslinger by a large margin.

TLDR on dps meter. "We dont want to have to do large balance patches constantly and dont want it any more obvious we make new classes op af."

They absolutely know some classes are much better than others in damage, they do it on purpose to entice the whales into making new characters and thus spending more money on them.

Not sure about the impact of solo content in Korea. But I'm 99.9999% sure that it most definitely will in the west. Like literally, I quit this game because of the toxicity in raiding, if solo content is actually good and I can make gold and get mats from it (of course in a reduced amount from full raids, but as long as it is about half) this will definitely help stop the bussing culture and most of the gatekeeping, since a lot of newbies will be able to learn the mechs without having stupid egomaniacs in the group insulting them for any tiny mistake.

And use it to basically bully people that don't meet their dps expectations. Dps meters as they are now are fine because you do it in secrecy and thus you can't use it to bully people. And anyone that bullies people with dps meter is instantly branded an asshole.

Rly rly rly hope they add the solo mode soon. Im struggling so hard yo find a group on na east. Every guild i join is nearly player capped but end up being like two ppl online including me ever. I been thru like half the list lol im not bad at the game and i do all.my research an shit i just dont have a group to run with so like im slowly falling behind not being able to make gold from raids :( so ig til then wish me luck random queue for akkan lmao plus it would def help population cuz ppl can learn and gear solo to easily get into groups after wothout being gatekept

IMO if they have to nerf something in solo mode, it should be gold not crafting mats or honing mats. This would solve a lot of problems, - the people who are too stressed to do well in a group can practice mechs until they are ready and they do not fall behind from everyone else. - the item level player getting gate kept until they have full set (valtan, brel, akkan etc) and they have to rely on busing until they are full set. - people who still progressing that complete that content set will be encourage to join group more so they can get full gold rewards, or else there is no reason to join public group that has solo content.

NA average playerbase skill is just better than KR average so you get like crazy deadeye players, etc that optimizes the shit out of their class.

please tell me the solo content can still be done in a group. It is fun to do well at least the 8 person raids. The 4 person raids can go.

Can we just remove the 8man limit? What if u have a friend u wanna play with? U dont want 6 randos, but solo means yall cant play together. Make it like maplesroty where u can have 1-6 players

It doesnt matter if he thinks its eviromental factors. The more data comes from the dps meter, the more those enviromental factors are part of the sample and will make similar parsing stats as FFXIV and WoW. This will put further preassure on KR dev teams, specially when all vertical systems get implemented in NA/EU eventually. Also them saying "devalue the effort of early people" in a p2w game is hilarious.

Yeah it's EW that is showing great performance. Pistoleer is on the low end of the dps spectrum (bottom 5 dps on average) according to the logs.

Anything on removal on entropy? I’m sitting here with 3 entropy classes I really enjoy. Kinda worried about how they’re going to change it.

I dont think so, i already discused this on some streams what if they remove entropy and boost a clasess a bit you get same sht with halu, no diff at all maybe a bit higher floor but then you will see almost every DB mvp it will be even worse hahahah

One think that comes to my mind is a imaginary circle just slightly smaller than the map that the boss cannot leave. Because the amount of times the boss just goes to the edge of the map and puts his butt up against the wall and you can’t back attack is disgusting. That’s just for starters tho.

I think entropy is fine higher risk higher rewarad. But if they remove it completley it doesnt have sense since they will need to buff entropy clasess more and agin you will still need to chase a butt as halucination so what is the diff

yeah youre right. the shouldnt just delete entropy then they would need to buff the classes then its like whats the point. if they remove entropy its just going to become hell because everyone will perma run towards the back to avoid hits. then lost ark raids would just become trying to leash a dog and run around the raid boring af.

I honestly think dps meter will be bitched about but long term eill benefit like look at wow. Plenty groups have off balance dps by like a fucking LOT and no whining rly just friendly competitive riffing and idk bout y'all but me and all my guildmates always wanted to know if we were underperforming to learn. I feel like most the bandwagoners only playing cuz popular are gone so most of whos left outside the bots actually want to be decent at game and play. I mean u cant rly get too far these days if your shit anyway lol

@@Fedaip You remove just as much content if the firs time someone new to the game has to group is Thaemine. Outside of Mokoko/Returning players none of this applies to us anyway, our content loop remains the same 3 raids + daiiles as it's always been.

Its great, supports can start paying dps now to run Ivory with them, after all the gatekeeping the tables are finally turning, all dps players will go solo and supports wont be able to clear.

It is not bad, in fact it is a must if this game wants to attract casual players and retain some of them long-term. In the West, a successful MMO is the one that is capable of appeasing the casual player base, which is like 90% of all MMO player base here. Casuals don't engage in raiding culture usually, and if they do, the raid have to be casual too. Lost Ark unfortunately doesn't really have casual raids, outside of maybe Guardian Raids. Which is a big minus at least for this type of player base.
