Hey Freevo, for Instant Cast + Dark Axel build, what tripods and Runes did you put on your Twin shadow and Soul Absorber? you didn't preview it after you did the parse. xD I realised you did not put Wealth for your other builds and instead used Galewinds, is it the same?

Hello, I somehow missed ur comment I truly forgot to preview it, my bad I Believe I put legendary Galewind on Soul Absorber and Purple Wealth on Twin Shadows and tripods for TS was 211, but I was thinking about improving this setup, hear me out We could use Turning Slash instead of Twin Shadows with 331 tripods, that would do almost the same dps on top of giving similar amount of gauge and doing similar stagger. What would be the advantage? 3 push immunities in ur build and Turning Slash also frees up a tripod slot for something like Spincutter QP

@@freevo7912 yeah my Instant Cast + Dark Axel build actually uses Turning Slash with 331 tripods. but i have P.Wealth rune on my turning slash and L.Wealth runes on Soul Absorber + Void Strike. I was worried about getting my specialty meter that's why... xD

Are you sure? I saw a lot of KR analysis showing that Twin Shadows was more damage and gauge generation ultimately.

there is no showcase on Instant case + dark axel so, i set up like that. tbh rotation is pretty smooth with 7 lvl cd. also i'm new on db i'm trying to push her to 1540. so skill setup here: void strike 312 (wealth leg) twin shadow 212 (wealth purple) Death sentence 221 (leg galew) Maelstrom 212 (focus) Spincutter 231(bleed) Earth clever 331 (galew purple) dark axel 112 (protection leg) soul absorber 312 (leg galewind) i tried spincutter without double spin but i'm sleeping on rotation and waiting for skill. i guess u used spincutter level 7 cuz 8 skillx10lvl is not good. so I tried to do your build. Is there any advice you can give me sir :)

I like either Instant Cast with Power Stab or Halve tripod on Soul Absorber the most, Power Stab being a bit lower ceilling but it's something fresh, it feels u know - different This build also has insane stagger and mobility, orb gen also being fairly decent so it allows some mael downtime or mistakes Supercharge build is just not even comparable fun wise and dps wise, it's still okay to play, it got better but it's not really that much of "my thing" And as for the other versions of instant cast, I dont feel like I need Dark Axel and the Blitz Rush build while being insane ceilling its not really that fun to play

@@Zondrogor Yeah, that's perfect then, u might also consider playing Forward Slash tripod on Twin Shadows, it's the lowest dps but extra mobility + it actually has paralysis immunity, or u could go for turning slash and just have 3 push immunity skills which is also sick That Twin Shadows with Bottom Cleave is the highest dps but also least safe option to go for

Yes, 22m Supercharge here with 61k attack power, lvl 10 / lvl 9 gems, +20 weapon, LOS 18, no Elixirs, 1620 ilvl.

@@mrscbw1 Okay, so I tested and honestly it's not that good, 2 min parse is 41,3 mil, pretty much comparable to regular Super Charge, but it feels more clunky to play and missing crit on Blitz Rush is just 💀💀 I had to re-do it like 2 times cause my Blitz Rush crit rng was just bad Also, u can't really play Wealth rune on Twin Shadows otherwise u are just gonna run out of mana in raids, u need to pick Focus for it As conclusion this build does work, but for me personally it doesn't feel good to play, and I would go with other options

This all looks really good till an actual boss moves away for a second and you miss a skill and then your 2% off your lvl3 surge and have to wait 15 seconds for an ability to come off cooldown. Honestly RE is way more punishing and imo harder to play than surge. With RE you have to use all your abilities within a 6 second window for the maelstrom buff while surge has a long window to use abilities in death trance with quicker cooldowns.

Not really, just a massive skill issue, works fine in raids, did 43mil in Akkan G3 3 days after swapping to instacast since patch. With more practice and better break timing on flip phase 55+ easily possible, as always speak for yourself not for everyone. Even parsing Gargadeth with no atros or darks after some runs getting consistent 55+mil, 5 skills give you mobility and if you play cieling halve tripod on soul thats 6 skills with mobilty, maybe surge players actually read RE engraving? And maybe they actually give their blade proper gear and gems? And maybe they actually play the harder engraving and give it a shot instead of speaking out of their ass? No? Okay :D

This guy happy about 55 mil in gargadeth. While many high end gear surge dealt more than 75-80 ++in that and done below 1 min 30. Massive knowledge issue to describe surge playstyle. Just keep delusional and ignoring the world or even KR tier list. and about akkan , dont be so proud , u speak much like u are more than KR pro blade player , anyway, if u run ur blade with this kind of party like 1 gunlancer and 4 hitmaster, dont talk about ur meter much, because surge will outperform u and ur ass back in that party arrangement for akkan raid.. ez back attack uptime,, ez raid..put 3-4 back attack there, and then u speak again about ur dps meter value

@@Zuuwu1 i played RE since launch but switched to surge recently after the patch. Ill admit yes it is a skill issue sometimes not knowing the boss’ patterns but my point was surge has more leeway in its rotation than RE especially if you’re a newer player who doesn’t have legendary wealth rune and 1770+ spec.

@@cheezus4747 That is true, but for people who main deathblade and have proper investment it's a shame to atleast not give the engraving a chance or in a lot of cases shittalk it, because some glue sniffing korean or streamer who swipes more than they play said x or y is bad... without trying it themselves

They should edit properly so that these fake videos are credible. As a DP player, I find it strange that skills appear in the rotations that are not equipped

Yeah, I do more in trixion on Surge as well, but in raids Surge cant really compare, unless there is a raid with downtime mechs, in that case Surge can perform quite well, Akkan G1 given as an example

cant say anything about it. It depends on ur surge playstyle , there is reason why surge always on everyboard in KR thaemine list, and another nerf reason why people change. i have no difficulty to any akkan raids bro as surge
