If they change the elixier system to have a pity or selectable nodes/skippable animations then I seriously consider moving to China...

I really like this change. I quit NAW after done Thaemine tf competition and transfer to CN serve. TBH, tons of rice eater and piloting speed run competition is ruining the game. Crystal price is twice as NAW which is 8000 already without any bots here. But from this update, I see the hope of this server. Bounded gold gonna enforce those rice eaters who farm raid gold with 20+roaster 100+chars gonna leave this game while new players still got gold to hone there chars. And chaos dungeon is already nerfed to 6times a week to get 100% shards and silver instead of 14times unless u want the gems and accs from chaos.

New players get a buff which work like crisis evasion. If u have a new player buff teammate u will get extra bond mats after raid cleared. Solo raid til Brel will be launch in next 2 weeks(kayangle is current content). Hope AGS will follow some of those good changes.

@@s.a4034 I was in Calgary til May. At that time my ping for NAW was 32 and for CN was 172. Currently I’m in east part China. Ping for NAW is 190 and for CN is 16. Gonna return Calgary in September tho

I like the idea of distributor having impact on game version, but honestly I do not think that only last 3 raids should have tradable gold, Bots are not even doing raids in first place, so that is not prevention against them. I am for example still doing Brel when I want to have quickly done raid for decent gold and with China rules that gold would not be usable for AH. What it could be good for is instead of nerfing gold in old raids, make it that part of that gold (nerfed amount) is this bound type of gold so new players can progress through game, but this should be happening to really old raids.

botting is not a problem in CN serve. They got banned really quick, so ppl give up. I haven’t seen a single bot account in this one year period. But a lot of people manually goes 4+ games together and farming gold by taking bus and chaos gate ish. In NA we don’t have many ppl manually farming like that. But in China, it’s actually a good income comparing with the salary they can get in real world

@@FallenL1ght well possibly but in general getting character so high is not that simple, so I do not see big problem in that. Lets say that endgame content is 1540, without express , power pass, etc. it is not that simple to get character there and with higher ilvl it will be tougher and more expensive. Busses are also in general not so cheap that you could really profit from that much, they often eat 60-80% gold you get from raid anyway. But it is different region, all what I am saying that from all changes CN distributor did, this one is not something what I would like to see in west implemented n same way, it is too restrictive for normal players, and any antibot/gold seller solution implemented should not have feelable negative impact on legit players.

Any idea how many player china server has ?

is that bound gold still roster wide? or will it be stuck to that character?

Look how AGS is handling their own IP’s like crucible and New world Imagine having hope with them as a publisher

China has its own dev team from the language that Gold River used when he was still director. People have forgotten that AGS nerfed Tier 1 dungeons and Caliligos for us. They also gave us Birthday Bash events that have started since jumpstart. That said, AGS aren't our friends. I'm not saying AGS are saints, but to say they have done nothing is factually wrong. Ask more from AGS and do it right. Saying "KR had more time than us to prepare" is doing more damage. What should have been said is, "We need more mats and gold to keep up with releases." This is going to end up indirectly delaying content because of the language that is parroted constantly.

I reallly want bound gold. Let me do all the raids and content solo (each week) and earn gold to upgrade myself. I quit in 2022 and im millions of gold behind lol... makes it not worth coming back.

This is fine for people with higher roster doing current raids in most/all characters. But this would hurt the new player experience even more than it is already hurting. Bounded gold overall is a bad change. Lots of Na/EU players on Reddit are dick riding this change but I promise they would not want this lol

Explain how it is bad. From what I see, it isn't. Bots do not usually do high tier content because they need hands. Forcing the farmers to cut deep into their bottom line by having people take buses, which uses the gold that is tradable, or actually learning the raid and contributing to the community of capable players. It isn't bad at all. Now again, explain how this is bad for new players.

@@KnowNoLimit001 if a new player logs into the game for the first time and can only do Brel,Akkan,Kaya. Their gold will be bound or whatever. They won’t be able to buy materials/gems or really anything that they need. Unless the system is based on your own ilvl maybe. But from what I’ve read that’s not really how it’s going to work. Obviously we know nothing until we might see more info come from china. I didn’t like when the royal crystals had a 3 day hold thing so I’m sure I won’t be a fan of this. I want to be able to spend my gold wherever I want. I know that seems selfish but that’s just how I feel

From my understanding with China and its communities/ games, trust me, you do NOT want to be in China server. Ps: i can read Chinese as well as English. Also you need REAL PERSON ID inside the country to register a game account in China too.

From what they do to change the game it seems like they do care much more than clown AGS. Also, real id for games? Holy shit, I would be instantly in on this. If you get caught botting / cheating / rmting you get an insta ban on your ID. How nice would that be? No more bots basically as well. 10x better than what we have in the west.

That’s Korea.. CN lost ark doesn’t need ur ID and that’s why lots of ppl goes 10+ or even 20+ accounts and farming gold by taking bus. So they add partial bond gold to the raid to prevent those ppl ruin the economy.

@@bizentino For starters the expresses are worse on CN, lower rewards and cut your bonuses off sooner. They also get less of them, we get an express with every new class these days but they don't. They have a speedrunning leaderboard with huge BC and materials rewards, that might sound cool but for example when Brel HM released in CN you need your *party's average item level* to be 1590. So ilvl and gear gatekeeping is even more encouraged. The race events are temporary too, so if you're thinking "Wait but Brel lobbies in NA are full of 1590+ right now", the rewards are only available for the first 8 weeks or so. Idk if you remember what your roster looked like back when Brel HM released for us, but I don't know anyone that was anywhere close to 1590 in April 2023 lmao It can be summarized as, most of CN's version differences and unique systems are put in place to encourage & reward whales. As if RMTing wasn't enough of an advantage in this game already.

bound gold is such a horrible idea. It will be an unmitigated mess people will complain about for forever. You want all your gold so you can choose how to use it when to use it. Oh, want to buy an acc? Too bad you dont have enough unbound gold. Oh, sold a bunch of stuff and now want to gear a char? Too bad, you don''t have enough unbound gold. People are going to beg for this, get it, and cry about p2w.

I mean the alternative is instead of getting 4500 for a raid and 2k of it being bound, they nerf the gold down to 2300 and that’s all you get. I don’t think the bound gold is a bad idea

That’s preventing ppl keep farming argos and valtan with 20+ account stopping at 1445. If u do raids like kayangle and hard brel, 90%to100%gold is unbind. Instead of nerfing gold to force those ppl to upgrade and ruin newbee experience, I don’t think bond gold is a bad idea. What’s more is it’s possible to unlock 6 char limit with this. Just give bond gold to those extra chars .
