Something like burnt copper would look nice

A metallic bronze/copper, magenta or silver would work well with the trim colour aswell

White, and only wear one glove when you drive it.
4:47 - “Right up underneath and see if you can feel a nut” - That’s how it done folks, no questions. Rich, you are funny!
When you bring it home, put a ratchet strap around the front axle and chassis to compress the suspension. That way it won't bounce up and hit the light inside the trailer on the way home.

I was surprised he didn't. Or just take the springs out 😅
Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard should have a lot of the parts you need. I’ve used them a lot and have alway had a great experience.
That was a fast 21 minutes, I need more juice box 👍

the ford 9 inch rebuild is getting edited right now
That was some old school body work on the roof of the Bronco, Rich ... kinda liked seeing you do that with the heat and quench. Metal has a memory. Glad you could wake it up and find it :o)

I should have explained that better. I got it pretty decent
I can relate to your comment about $500 bronco's in '98. I had a $200 1983 bronco in the early 2000s and beat the snot out of it. Man I wish I still had that one.
Haha we had a 'Two ton Tanya' at my old work, but her name was Donna so we called her 'Double dinner Donna'!
A couple of those princess auto straps between the axles and frame will lower it down plenty far to clear the trailer for the trip back to your shop

Glue in the roof. cut the old one off about 1 1/2" above the seam dust off the paint and use pannel bond. Presto chango all in and NEW.
A small work cart for each build. On the cart have some magnet containers for bolts, screws etc. I got a small simple metal cart that’s 4 feet tall. Makes organizing spaces easier! When it’s time to rebuild I roll the cart over.
Rich, squat the front and rear suspension down with a couple of load straps from the front and rear diff to the frame, that will buy you at least an inch or two added clearance to get into the trailer.
Paint it simular to original. Ford's dark chestnut & light chestnut. Should have maybe put the old 15 inch tire & rims on it to transport. 👍👍
I so admire your ambition.
The original colour!👍
You certainly know how to keep busy Rich! Looking good, can’t wait to see it with the new paint.
All of your projects are creative! I love the f350 and the v10 mustang. You guys have been busy since the last time I tuned in. Awesome work
And the journey begins! Love it. Regarding paint colour, I would say, any colour you like, it's your truck!
Love that intro everytime 10/10
I thoroughly enjoy all of your builds but The Juice is my favorite intro montage, by far. Love it. I’ll age myself by saying how I remember exactly where I was in 1994 when “the chase” happened.

If you also like the series theme song, it's "Moon and Tide" by Particle House. Full song available on KZread, Amazon, etc.
Factory colors…maybe a bit of sparkle on the darker color!
Soo excited to see this finished!
Re-spray the original colors. Not that many are rolling around. If not, please keep the 2 tone.
Hey Rich, that was a good method and explanation for doing a floor patch. For the ceiling light in the trailer you could let some air out of the tires. Only need an inch. Good channel.
I like the color combo that the right fender and door are.
More Juice Box Bronco! Let’s go! Also anxiously waiting on more C10 content!
That is going a sweet rig when it's completed.
Rich I feel that kind of twinge of “well that’s going to be a lot of work.” When I was a freshman in college a couple friends and I drove my 63 nova out into the farmlands to go look at the stars. Well one of them decided it would be a great idea to lay their body on the hood and gave another friend the same idea. Left stress marks on the hood cause they were laying in the middle. Oh well, it was a reproduction hood so who cares but it had really nice matching clear coat with the rest of the car. I’ve gotten over it though, just was butthurt my friends couldn’t respect my pretty clean nova
helper cats are always helpful
luv the way things get done... thanks for letting us go along with ya...
I love the trick you did with the self tapping screws on the floor pan 👍🏼
Rivet bucking bars and a body hammer works really good getting dents out
20:30 "the the wind go thru your hair right?" that felt like a jab at Rich 😭
Those pad-eyes are great. Never seen that in a shop but it’s a brilliant addition for someone building a dream shop.
Big body Broncos are my favorite vehicles. Since it’s the juice box is it going to get a Lincoln Pearl white paint? She kind of needs to be white to be the juice box, eh? Love your welding helmet as well!
Really enjoy the body repair stuff!
You should have Earl Scheibed the Bronco while out west bringing it home. It would have made for some interesting content then and during the current tear down and prep for new paint.
Rich…I know you like the tan interiors, and so do I. I’m betting you could paint her white which would go great with it, or go a version of tan or even a two-tone which would look great as well. Either way…the Bronco will be awesome. If I’m excited about this build…can’t imagine how excited you and your family are! It’s great you have other projects in the works, paint will take a bit as you indicated. Take care and God bless…David.
Can’t wait to see you at Motorama!
Very Kool Rich
Just ratchet strap the frame down to the axle on the way back, it'll suck it down enough to squeeze in there safely
Just let the tyres down. Oh and great work again mate, cheers 🍻.
I have done that exact floor patch on my 87 f350. I should have known about that self tapper trick.
Going to be awesome 😎
The worst part of replacing floor pans is the terrible angle you’re always in, my back hurts just watching you! Worth it though, she’s looking great brother 👍 can’t wait to see it all done
Hey rich , I just wanted to apologize for being the guy that was dancing on your bronco roof, had a few to many twisted teas back in my prime of 1996, sorry man!! Lol 😂
Just enjoy it

More bodywork tips and tricks please! 15:07
I have a 79 bronc...beast...400 c6....detroit locker in rear.....moab monster✌
The 3rd gen Bronco is my fav jeep shape. I wish you guys would put a bit bigger tires under it, that big wide and nice 4x4 body deserves bigger wheels. Or are these just temporary anyway? Cause at 18:35 you're mentioning that the tires at the back are smol. >< Lol
I like the two tone idea as well.
@DEBOSSGARAGE

I think we are going two tone
I would have ratchet strapped the frame to the axle to take up some suspension.
Tip Forget about the plastic clips Just use double sided tape and the screw fasteners if it has them . Remember to seal the holes.
Here to bump the algorithm 🤘😎🤘

thanks!
i bought a 85 flairside for a future project and i swear there are 40 screws holding the chrome trim on the front end.
Ratchet strap axle to body on the way home. Should be able to pull it down a bit
Where did you find a roof panel? I need one also, and can't them anywhere.
Looks like the forklift could use some love as well.😀
My first vehicle was a 1984 Bronco.
You can let out air or take the rubber and go rims
Hi Rich. Totes forgot to ask you about sending my address and some money for that gear to make a knife. I was thinking of making something not to big not to small. An EDC fixed blade. Micarta scales G10 liners. Maybe a Kephart or a drop point.
Couldn't you compress the suspension with straps or chains when bringing it home to get it a bit lower?
Mark Whiteford Acrylic Auto he does amazing work
You have been working on the fork lift here we go
I think the juice box would look better with a trim delete, besides, juice boxes don't have trims
I think I missed some shows....@3:35 Is that an angle grinder paint job on your forklift? .....Or "70s alligator skin? ...or worse....wood panel K-Car trim package.
Check out Sleeperdude doing floorpans, he was a body man and one of the best you tube channels going . Funny guy and charming family too. Cant wait to see this project finished.
Rich...my 66 gto conv is on lift.....new control arms goin in...and all new fnt end....the moog coils are thicker and longer than stock springs...my fear is the front of car will be 3 in higher than rear....what do ya recomend🤔? Thx tomk fdny
Hey Rich why didn't you let some air out of the tires before you put the bronco in the trailer bro!!!!!!!!
I had an 89'. If I was alone, i couldn't fit in the mall parking structure. If I had a passenger or two, it would drop just enough to fit.
Lmc truck has all your trim clips
you could put the smaller factory size tires and wheels back on it for paint transport
👊👊👊
awesome vid. how about grafting your new roof skin over original ?
@DEBOSSGARAGE
Жыл бұрын
moisture would get in between and rust it from the inside
8 50-lb bags of sand throughout the body of the Juice Box should lower it enough so that it clears the trailer roof. Or less and lash the rear suspension lower to the body.
Your intro looks like a forza horizon video game, awesome ❤❤❤
I can't figure out what the song is that plays after the intro with the funky beat. Would love to know what it is
Just put a spring compressor on each side to lower roof.
Factory Bronco rockers are like 5/16" thick rocksliders? Wow...
How you know you're a true car guy Uses ratchet strap, "That ain't going no where."
👍👍
put LED strips up instead of the light fixture and you'll have more headroom
Should have taken some of those new ratchet straps and sucked down the suspension.
That poor little forklift! Old Faithful has seen better days. You should take the time to make a video of doing paint to it since you enjoy body work so much, Rich. 🙄🤣

Got the number of the big girl that caved that rocker panel in? Good thing shes not the one that danced on the roof.
