Losi Tenacity TT Pro initial review, steering upgrades, and basher parts install

Some initial thoughts on my Tenacity TT Pro compared to the SCTE’s I’ve owned. I also upgraded the steering with ball bearings, installed a new Savox servo, and put on some basher parts. Love this truck!

Ball bearing set for stock bell cranks (2 sets required- TLR237000
Glitch buster/capacitor- SPM1600
Savox servo- 1258TG
Aluminum servo horn- TLR1557
Mud guards- DER-110-10
Skid plates- DER-310-L
Front bumper- 73042

    It looks like the TT Pro has all the parts from the Losi Proformance kit pre-installed. Nice. Just installed that kit on my Tenacity MT. What a difference. Gets rid of the stupid bottom access battery tray. Good video

    Agreed, love this platform. There’s still a little slop in the steering, which annoys me, but replacing the servo got rid of a good deal of play. I’ll probably end up doing some TLR aluminum hubs soon, just haven’t got around to it yet.

  • @misterts7635

    @misterts7635

    3 жыл бұрын

    Aw man, sorry to hear! Losi is really good about warranty issues, so if you email them they’ll probably send you a whole axle. You could use any pin, but if it’s a smaller diameter it’ll wallow out the hole in your axle over time. I’d find a drill bit that fits tight and cut it down to the right length. A little hinge pin play is pretty normal, but you could put some washers in there.

    Hi, good to watch your video. I got mine last week and noted the same issues with the steering and the servo, same issues. I used one time and put it on hold until I get response from Horizon Hobby. Unfortunately, there are not factory parameters to make a right steering adjustments. At this time, I would like to get more feedbacks about this model, just to know if it is what it is. This is my first rc car, having Align helicopters, where the tuning is key, so I am a little concerned about this choice.

  • @misterts7635

    @misterts7635

    Once you fix the steering issues it’s a great truck. Very fast and durable, and handles excellent on the track. Most ready-to-run RC cars come with poor servos, unfortunately, so I expected to have to replace this when I bought the truck. I just didn’t think everything would be this loose. Get yourself a high quality servo and you’ll be very happy with it!
