I by luck just got 4 rc max 50gt,s and even a 40 . I do have a alx 71 and rc max 70 but these babies i cant wait to run. Just mega balls hands down the one is 22hp on 110 race gas. The compression is high though so it works well

Hello. The clutch can't handle any more gearing. I had a bigger pinion on it. Just sat there smoking lol. Appreciate you stopping by 👊 🤘

Thanks! I was messing with the tune in between the switch shutting off lol. Towards the end it was ripping well. Definitely likes the smaller tires.

Love the sound of this beast! I kinda really want a rovan. Might pick one up someday. I really, really, really, do NOT need any more RC's though.....

@@SteelCityRC Yea. I don't really want to sell any, as I have a pretty decent collection. Well maybe my redcat volcano. POS. I just went all in way too fast. I was sooooo excited when I got my XMAXX. Swore I would drive it every week!!! Drove it once in the past 3 months lol. Now I am into fpv freestyle drones. That is a pretty expensive habbit. Not hobby, HABBIT lol Already have 5 drones, and 1 on the way. Yup HABBIT..... And just got a gopro for said drone addiction.

That is a good harness for sure. I will probably do the wiring myself. Been putting it off. Although I did go through the Losi one with some solder. Probably just add a good switch and be done.

Sup man. Thanks. But Hitec will not fix it. They told me years ago through email one year warranty with recipt. It is a couple years old and no recipt. Thanks for looking out. Sup man! The front uses CV axles I do believe. Losi quit making them and hard to find. I been using Fast Lane Machine "FLM" axles and lower arms. They are listed under dbxl extended arm kit at DDM racing. The V1 dbxl fit straight on. To get bigger pins you can use extended dbxl 2.0 arms and axles. Have to change the diff drive cups to accept the bigger pins. Hope that makes sense lol

I had this same thing happen to me and the only thing I could think of it being was the kill switch. I switched it to a different brand and haven’t had a problem since.

I have that problem with my mtxl the switch goes bad and it sticks between on/off !! Get rid of the switch or that will keep happening with all the stock switches I went through 3 finally did away with it!!

Hey what's up man. This is the second switch now. First one got rusty and was hard to move. Then eventually failed. This one is fairly new that I put dielectric grease down in it. I think it is just too smooth of movement now and turns off. So ya I think it is getting tossed. No switch at all. Just plug in and go. Tjanks for the tips 👊🤘

Hello. I have 21/61 gears in there. Was a bit too steep for stock MTXL tires. With these super spikes it seems nearly perfect. Thanks for watching 👊🤘

G-Man, that Brovan 45 sounds good in there! I run the Killer RC lighted power switch and haven't had any issues like this. I swapped to these switched after having 2 MTXL switches go bad on me. What you running for gearing and drive train (shafts and diff fluid)?

Thanks man! Good to see ya! I will look into that power switch. Thanks for the info. Ya man. This engine has it's place. It doesn't like the big stock tires and this gearing. Handled the super spikes much better. I am using 21/61 Vertigo pinion and dbxl spur. The center shafts are all stock. The axle shafts are FLM that came in the aluminum arm kit. Diff oil I am light to some. 100F 500C 100R. Thanks for swinging by brother 👊🤘

@@SteelCityRC thanks for the info. I've got the 40GT in mine running 32/61 with Badlands it's liking it, but I blew the rear diff. Haven't had a minute to break it down yet, but it's got DBXL-E cups with GAP Racing cases. I've already replaced the diff. gears (front and rear) once.
