Had a Mini B once and was very happy with it!

The stock radio has a program menu that will let you increase end points. But the DX5 has expo for better steering control soo. Also the warranty isn't voided by chopping the connector, unlike another brand we know..

in his own group maybe, never saw him join any international race.

The original controller has steering rate adjustment, and the 810mah is the bigger battery for my jrx2 mini which comes stock with 650mah

I got the brushed one. And installed a Hobbywing Combo WP16BL30 with a 6500kV motor. This thing is stupid fast with a brushless. And eats rear tires so fast. After 4 battery charges they are gone . Now i made 12 to 8 mm hex adapters with my 3d printer. Because i cant get replacement tires for it. So i can use 12mm wheels on it.

mini racing is more like original RC racing, its so much more fun.

I bought the roller version many years ago. Went on sale for a price i couldnt pass on. I put a Castle Mamba micro with a 0808 8200 kv motor in it. Bluebird servo. Sr315 reciever mated to my DX5 Rugged.

The Mini-B is a great little buggy. Don't have the V2...but, I do have a V1 that's been seriously upgraded, including brushless power.

If the radio is like the Mini T, you can adjust your steering dual rate by holding the wheel to one direction, then press and hold the steering trim button + or -

Hi Kev I particularly loved your reviews of cheaper, budget rc's like the rival mt10. I HIGHLY suggest that you do a review of the ftx tracer truggy hbx 16889 A, it is about £70 pounds - so really is dirt cheap for everyone! i have it, it takes a massive beating and for 30 ish pounds you can upgrade all the arms shock towers shocks (from friction to oil) and whole drive shaft system all from plastic to metal. I have had great fun with it and for it is price it is pretty nippy, around 20,30 miles per hour. I think it would make for a great video!! it doesnt go 20 mph with the tiny battery it comes with but I have seen videos of it going 54 kph with 3s lipo. (yes over volted) - but still crazy for the price I love all your videos and am a huge fan (started watching 4 years ago so not completely og) bla bla bla enough technobable, huge fan Best Wishes!!

you can change the punch and steering from the remote itself, you can hold the wheel or throttle and push up/down on the buttons. at least you could on the original 2.0 controller. i think that is the newer version.

That's not the punch setting, that's called the throttle endpoints. Punch is set from the ESC.

@@Boogie_the_cat na with the old controller you could hold the throttle at any position hit the - and it would lower the throttle position reducing the "punch" of the car... punch is just short for the ramp up on the motor.
