Thanks Rich! Total lawn destroyer 😂It's super responsive and can launch. I just need to unscrew the kickers from the top to change the trajectory and keep landing momentum pushing forward. This car would be awesome on the jumps at Digger's Dungeon

This car looks awesome, the handling looks amazing. Great driving man, the large scale cars are a handful and your note on the weight being a factor on launching it makes a good point. As much as we would all love to see that thing soaring through the air, the damage it would take on landing would be extensive. Great Video man!!! 👍👍👍👍

Not really because its got massive shocks and very tough a-arms...i had a dbxl...i had to put diff fluid in the shocks but it helps tremendously

Great video and definitely a cool rig. Although personally I do not believe fifth scale is made for electric. Runtime is extremely important to me I have gotten 45 minutes out of my Xmaxx and that’s perfect.

Our neighbors would disagree on the fifth scale not being made for electric :) I do love the long runtimes with the gas rigs and ability to just fuel up and keep going. I need to get some bigger packs for this thing.

I have to ask same Question. Punch level or any other parameter?. You have to change a y parameter in stering?.

@@jaguar2164 I suspect he has turned punch up, My rig really started coming alive after setting the punch to 5.

I'm in the market for a 1/5 1/6 scale buggy I'm mostly looking at the rock Ray or this. How do you feel they compare? Cheers.

Tony, have you tried to turn up your brake settings? My brakes are very weak... I have seen Earl trying to change his brake settings & the change would revert back to stock settings.

Nevermind Tony, The problem was that you have to hold the set button for 3 sec then turn off the esc or the new settings will not save...

Yup. The settings are saved by holding the set button as you said. I haven’t had any issue with mine. Loving the Smart electronics. I want to try their program cards to see how it works.

Take that big ramp and put it in front of the dirt ramp so you could use the dirt ramp for landing....

Batteries and Battery chargers are expensive and the runtimes are to short. Other than that, love this machine.

I’m new to this hobby. I have the granite 4x4 blx 3s. You said gonna clean it up with the hose and a little wd40. What the wd40 for

WD40 repels water. So I spray it on the turnbuckles and the plastics (just not electronics). It also makes it look good. It attracts dirt they all say. Yup. But I clean it after every run and re-apply. The dirt it attracts sprays off pretty easy because it is like a barrier.

I’m not sure. Our total property is 1.25 acres, so this run area is maybe 1/3 an acre?

It's a pity that the whole transmission wears so fast. Specially te outdrives and the gears. Also the thing always lands like a rock. The rest is cool enough.

Did you go over your diffs before running 25 packs through lol first I heard of these issues but most ppl dont use there RC that much imo.. weather permitting lol but than some or all try get what they pay for don't realize how fast stable how much beating they taking .250 mph compared to same race buggy 1:1

Why not make a track out of it with lots of rocks?

Like small stones or big rocks? Weather would really Limit what I could run out there...not to mention throw stones all over the yard that would make mowing dangerous.
